Problem in China

its not that jim sent it out that way. it is what happened before it reached the buyer. that is all on jim.

after months and no contact it becomes the problem of the buyer for sure.

selling overseas should have a no return policy unless a problem is found on the two days after receiving the cue.
probably on any cue mailed out.

only fair settlement is buyer pays for return of cue and if maker finds its his fault fixes for free and pays for both of the returns.
otherwise all cost go to the buyer.

As a lot of you know I been building cues and Joint Protectors for 28 plus years . I send a couple cues to China in September . I got this picture from buyer today saying something wrong with cue , dont role straight . From what I see , Pin is Bent . I would never send a cue out with a joint so screwed up , like picture shows .
On Sept 24 Buyer left possitive feedback also saying " Great Burl , Excellent Hit "

On Sept 24 th Buyer left Positive feed back and said , " Great Burl , and Excelent hit ."

That looks more like its cross threaded to me, if it was a bent pin the offset between the cue and the protector would look the opposite but that is the way a cross thread offset would most likely line up.

I’ve followed Jim’s work for many years. We had a misunderstanding several years ago about a cue build. It was just miscommunication. He was a gentleman during the whole process. Even though we did not wind up doing business I would still request a cue from him today if I were in the market. I’ve heard nothing but good things about his cues. Good luck Jim. Sounds like the majority of us are on your side.
