Okay, i had this shot the other day to finish running a rack of 9-Ball. The cut angle on the 8-Ball was very slight, it wasnt straight in. I wanted to pocket the 8-Ball and follow up off the rail to around Point A for the 9-Ball. But i overcut the shot and missed the 8-Ball, hit it near Point B.
My problem with this is i was certain i had the aim down perfectly on this shot. my concern was more hitting it straight into the long rail as opposed to over-cutting and hitting it into Point B. which, of course, is what i did.
Anybody ever struggle with slight cut shots like this? and can anyone offer some tips/advice on how to aim at these type shots?
Mike
