If memory serves, JCIN has pointed out that team matches are not economic for TAR because they double his expenses for bringing in the players.

Now Shane vs Jennifer, that would be fun. How about 35 on the wire and all the breaks in a race to 100? Has anyone spotted anyone in the history of TAR?

I mean people would want to watch match like Boening Vs Orcullo cos it is match of top money players. Boening Vs Appleton cos there is that USA Vs Europe/Mosconi Cup rivalry.:D

The hooknis two top players at the top of their games facing off. Two top (female) athletes facing off. What else is needed? I don't get pool players always wanting something to make it "more interesting,"as if the competition itself isn't enough. I guess it's the athlete in me.

Beretta might be very nice, professional, good looking, and an improving second tier player on the women's circuit, but watching her shoot is like watching paint dry. It would be excruciating watching that match for more than a hour a day.

I guess I'm the opposite. The women would actually interest me enough to watch and buy a TAR for once.From my observation, the women tend to go back and forth more often, which I find way more interesting than watching the player run rack after rack after rack.

GYK vs. XTP would also be interesting, for queen of Asian women players, or GYK vs Yup Ram Cha, for queen of Korea. Of course, getting those two matches would also fulfilled other visual guilty pleasures, too :grin-devilish: :lovies:
 
If I wanted to watch bangers hit Pool balls around the table I would go to my local Pool room…

Now if they have a laundry folding contest, I might pay to watch that!
 
To be honest, It's not that I think the women players are lesser players. I just don't follow them much. Most of there main events are over seas, and I don't hear about them until they are over. The reason why a mixed scotch doubles appeals to me, is because it would have something I am familiar with coupled with some new faces. Might even get me interested in the WPBA or whatever it is the women folks are doing now a days.

Hate to sound sexest, but I just don't keep up with the woman, mostly because they aren't talked about much here.

If TAR ever does one of these, I will buy just to see what I'm missing.

Id play any of those girls like that? An all around 9 ball 10 ball banks or maybe even 8 ball.
I am probably a big underdog against any of the top women but it would be fun to play

Yup, only twice but it's happened.
TAR 8, Bartram got the call 8 + call 9 from Rodney in a 10b 15-ahead set.
Chris won.

He got the call 8 from Darren in a race to 100 and won that way too.

There is or was anyway no love lost between those 2- GYK YRC -i doubt anyone could get them together.
 
Unfortunately unless the girls would go topless poor Justin/Mark would loose their shirts. I'm not trying to be cute here but there is not enough paying public to make economics work. Having said that if some sugar daddy wanted to provide prize funds I'm sure TAR folks would look at it.

A straight women's match with the new format that we use now probably will not happen. A scotch doubles or "battle of the sexes" man vs woman match would be a possibility. Either would depend on about a thousand variables all falling right though.

I wouldn't hold my breath.

Personally I would pay $15 to watch GYK read a book.

I was gonna sat exactly that. Miss Kim has charisma. Even back when she barely spoke English, the minute she started talking, people just gathered around listening and smiling.

She is smart too. Once i was helping her with a banking transaction-This lady was explaining something to me and im supposed to help GYK understand it but I couldnt figure out what she was saying. After i had the lady repeat it again, GYK fully understood it and i still didnt.

I don't see it happening, but if it does I'll definitely buy the PPV. I'll even pay extra if they get Jasmin as one of the gals. ;)

H-mmmm... maybe TAR can get Jasmin to play Schmidt in straight pool instead. :grin-devilish:
 
I don't think that many would pay for a women's TAR PPV. For me (I'm poor moneywise) I have to pick PPV matches with the top players and the games I like best (one pocket and 10 ball). No second stringers or women on my list of PPV. It is just not in my budget these days.

I do like to watch Women's World Championships if it is live and a free stream however.
