I guess your right,pool does seem to be on a boom right now,I called to get in the Jamaica Joes tournament in Ok city,and they said it had been full since wendseday.And thats a field of 128,and there's 24 on a waiting list including James Walden.

Yes, there's a whole new "Pool Boom" going on in this part of the country, it's refreshing.

I wonder if it's because of 'Two Shot Shoot Out' or One Pocket ;) ?

There was an honor system
So which was it you checked racks or you didn't ?

We didn't check it with referees, that's what I posted.....of course we checked the rack with others racking, I posted that as well. There was less cheating then, I know that for sure.....do you want me to elaborate? I know every trick that the other top players know, and they have mastered it for sure. For me it's all about "self defense," not attacking.

You better check it playing 10 Ball with the Magic Rack......that's where you can really get "the worst of it". ;)

And you say the break means nothing in 2 foul
I don't know that game but I find that hard to bel

LMFAO! I'm the WORLD CHAMPION racker (self-proclaimed). If my services are needed and I am appropriately compensated, I'll travel the world over to rack for anybody requiring such services.

I'm on-call 24/7.

The top players were referring to the US OPEN as the "Racking Championships"....this is a problem that needs to be addressed as soon as possible and fixed once and for all. It's not that difficult to fix, but the rules must be enforced with an "iron hand".

It's all about problem prevention and focusing on the positive attributes of the game....the racking doesn't' need to be an issue with a Referee racking the 9 Ball on the spot and the players breaking from the "break box" for instance.

There's several ways that would be fair, but letting the player examine the rack is simply unnecessary .... as long as it's the same for both players.

I personally don't care what the final rule is as long as the players are not allowed to rack the balls and are not allowed to touch them.....this is the most important thing.

I think the break (without the 9 counting on the break) may be a better game matchup. I don't care how good anybody plays, the break in 9-ball can be a LOT if the guy knows how to break right.

With my business opening in January I probably won't be at DCC....we can play $10 a game though and I'll even put up 50 games.

You and I both know the break means a lot even if I have only played the 2 foul rules once
