Spot shot cb in hand behind headstring
Pocket object ball straight in either cornerpocket
Draw cb straight across to 4" above or below middle diamond
cb stays within 1" of rail

I have seen it done only a ltd # of times all by the same shooter!
I saw it done on med-fast 9' simonis 860

Many years ago we used to do this on the old slow cloth. Using extreme skid on the cue ball it was not that hard. But now on the fast cloth it is much harder.

I used to be able to pocket the object ball into the lower right and draw the cue ball one rail and a diamond above the right side pocket.

not a joke.

I always liked/like the spot shot with the cueball nit hitting a rail after contact with the ball. Tough shot...

Yeah my favorite thing to do with this shot is almost always draw into the side pocket.

I wish I didn't. I guess its something I need to work on.

Wish I could finesse draw like user above me mentioned.

This is another fun one.
Does not trickle in.

One I like to challenge people with is... make a spot shot and don't let the CB touch a rail (ANY rail).
A lot of guys try super soft low outside and come soooo close, but they always bump the foot rail.
The trick is low inside, let the cue ball curve and hit the object ball fat.

This could be a great proposition shot for me to use in my next $100 Challenge Rack. Gearing up for the proposition, will be up soon. I like these ideas, great for drills.

I'll have to try that one. I'm very adept with low inside.
For example, I can make that very same spot shot and hit the diamond BEFORE the side pocket.
I remember one time almost hitting the middle diamond on a table that played extremely short.
It looked unreal.

And yes, I use LOW inside on these.

LOVE that avatar! One of the funniest things I've ever read was that spider drawing email thread.

I knew a guy who would bet that he could make a spot shot without the cue ball touching a rail. He'd just fire the ball in and the cue ball would go straight into the corner, no rail!:D
