Pros We Should Listen 2 on AZB

I'd like to hear Justin Bergman's opinion on his favorite cue/shaft.

Also what he thinks of the revo shaft.

Yeah right

That's right. He peddled his DVDs and left.

Do you REALLY think that those few DVDs that he sold on here is the
reason he was posting. He is very passionate about the game and wanted
to share his thoughts and way of playing. He was and still is a tremendous
player. He answered every question asked and gave very freely of his time.
The best way to teach his method (TOI) other than private lessons was with
the DVDs. C. J. is financially well off enough that the time and money he
spent to make the DVDs cost him, and he knew that when he did it. He
left for the same reason that all the others pros did.

I miss CJ posting here....great stories, great sense of humor...and is one of the role
models for other pros...he's done well for himself.
But I felt free to argue with him also...I don't think a pro should be mollycoddled.
....but no bitterness between us...he told me he'd love to have a coffee with me and
talk pool.

...however, I think he paid too much attention to his detractors...you can't please everyone.
I told his knockers...'If you don't like CJ's posts, why don't you try to make a better one."

CJ, you're a great player...and a great poster....COME BACK

He is too busy on facebook trying to convince everyone that the world is flat.

Oh yeah. Good stuff. I don't even know why I was seeing his facebook posts, one of my pool buddies must be following him on FB and maybe I see it when he posts something to CJ. Nuttier than a fruit cake in his flat earth theory stuff. But, in this day and age, conspiracy theories make money. Who is gonna buy a book that says JKF killed by Oswald ;)

Y'all can badmouth CJ all you want, but he knows pool and still plays at a high level.

He was here in Hawaii for the last couple weeks and I watched him play and played with him for a couple hours.

He beat Rodney Morris in a $1,000 first-prize mini-tournament they had here last week.

The contrast in his style and Rodney's style was really noticeable.

Don't Donny Mills post here once in a while ?

Everybody needs a rocinante.

Did you know that smart homes- those that can be controlled via internet/ apps- are a too of the government? One day, they are gonna turn off all the a/c units, unlock all the doors, and uhh. Uhhhh.

One thing I noticed about Bergman watching youtube tournaments is that it seems like almost all of his shots are dead center pocket, he rarely touches a cushion on the way in.

IMO Justin Bergman is the best pro that has come on here in many years. He's not a "know it all", he's not trying to sell anything, and fields questions honestly and W/O talking down to anyone. We should listen to him, as he has done it and is still doing it. Johnnyt

There are a lot of guys here that people should be listening to that are not pros.

Pros do not necessarily make the best teachers nor offer the most insightful opinions. Interesting takes, no doubt, but most of us will never see that level of play, nor are we natural talents that played at a high level early on in life.

For my money I want to hear from the guy who struggled and gotten better, has science to back up his position, or at least steal from a gilt-edged world champion and glean what I can. "Pros" are a dime a dozen.

We can debate on who/was the best but the UNDISPUTED HEAVY WEIGHT CHAMPION of the worst professional poster is CHARLIE WILLIAMS. Comes here and posts his tourney info for free and offers zero value in return. Won't even answer questions about the event he is promoting.

Well said, and I completely agree!

Thanks JustinB appreciate it. I think a lot of people thought I was you & you were me lol. Sometimes I get hot when people say I have no chance against Jayson when I've played him multiple times and he only beat me one time in the the banks at Derby. That doesn't make me a better player and I can admit that but I think we are real close & I'm not scared to play again like everyone else thinks. I can tell you this though, I wouldn't play Orcollo.

I think you can take him in spelling. English only.
