Hi. I am Christian Lill-Rastern from Innsbruck in Austria. I am Billiard Instructor and Billiard Enthusiast since the Age of 14. Beside of that I study Psychology at the University of Innsbruck and decided to write my thesis about specific aspects of the game. Mainly: The neurocognitive aspects of Pool Billiards. I have a IT Company and I work as mobile assistant for people with special needs. As Instructor I work for the youth team aty local Club "Little Pool Team" in Innsbruck (btw. rhe hometown of Max Lechner) That rounds up the most important part of my biography, well at least for the context I hopeWas inquiring about your history. Before I engage.

Began when/why.... then tell us a small journey.
I grew up in the trench area, the decade after Mosconi/Fats were still workin' it,
Varner and I were the best in the US late 60's-70's.... plus Carella on the nine foots played our speed.
So who are U OP?....
This question is one of my Hypothesis! We should see such differences as we know since decades about differences between male and female, when it comes to mental rotation tasks.I mostly curious if there is an obvious difference between male and female, as far as spatial ability.
I think so.Is a thesis for a Bachelor a thing in the US also?
Yes, at least in some fields. In Psychology we have to write a thesis and it should have a qunatitative Study.No.
You might do one for undergraduate honors programs or a capstone project. Most bachelors degrees in the US do not include such a thing. Typically US bachelors are more general, teaching you how to think, not what to think. In Austria the bachelor educations are more specialized, more technically specific.

A thesis is rarely required for a bachelor in psychology in the US. Most universities only require a capstone project or a senior seminar as a culminating activity, which requires less documentation and data analysis than a thesis.Yes, at least in some fields. Mcafee's crap. I miss Black Ice Defender. Norton's isn't much better, for me.Well McAfee can be assured: It is safe, but as experienced IT Software Architect I can tell you, that McAfee is notorius in producing false positives!
In Europe you need a players licence in order to take part in competitions or in the league. Sorry for some questions being a bit related to regional regulations. The license for instance in Austria requieres you to have a Assist Referee qualification.
Interesting, didn't know that! Is that the real reason that Europeans seem to call fouls on themselves? If they don't, they could lose that license? In Europe you need a players licence in order to take part in competitions or in the league. Since you are putting it out internationally, I would say you need to be clear to the international audience, otherwise you may have a flaw in your data to be accounted for, and perhaps it could adversely effect your evaluation or grade. In Europe you need a players licence in order to take part in competitions or in the league. So in Austria players are required to have training in the rules? Almost no American players have ever had such training, and even some top players make very basic rules mistakes. In Europe you need a players licence in order to take part in competitions or in the league. I'm not sure asking specifically pool players would answer that question very well in a general sense. People who are spatially challenged, be it men or women, are much less likely to be pool players, much less pool enthusiasts who will be answering these questions. Never mind the additional self-selection bias of people willing to sit through 20mins of standardized test questions about it.This question is one of my Hypothesis! We should see such differences as we know since decades about differences between male and female, when it comes to mental rotation tasks.
