Swimmingly?....Jen, that is a frightfully British way of saying it.
...have you gone to the dark side?
Bloody right. They say keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

Earl Strickland gives 100 percent of himself each and every time.
I hope Earl could get the medical or phycological treatment he deserves.

That's where I disagree with modern methods.....outside help...medication, etc.
I was a hyper teenager...migraines a lot...couldn't do things fast enough.
..when I turned 18...time to grow up....did yoga-like things....slowed everything down...
...realized that without patience, everything turns to shit.....
...migraines disappeared....I was happier and more productive.
Earl needs to do some serious contemplating...drop the weed....
...there's always a helping hand available....at the end of your arm.
Except Bob J. already gave you one example where that's not true.
I agree, that is a better discussion for those who really love the game and the players. I dont know if he has a drug problem, but we all have heard rumors and stories.
Some folks on here claim to be looking out players, but if they were really concerned about Earl, they would start threads about how to get him help verses how to put him in a position where his problems are magnified.

It must be a slow day for pool news because it really seems like you have a hard-on for Earl. I don't understand why you keep responding to me. You have your opinion, great. Move on and communicate with somebody else on this thread now. I really don't care to be drawn into a back-and-forth with you. Please move on.
That's a nice meaningless non comparison,, but for the fun and laughter tell me again how many championships did he bring to Washington with all those trophies and winning attitude,,
Ya Berg said he'd play he also said he's talked to those who played with Earl and didn't like it and can see why they would feel that way

Sorry, but WA sux so bad, even Jordan could not save them for the 2 years he played there.
yeah, but I nobody cares about how they feel if they play with Earl, you think every team that everyone likes each other. Ummm, in case you have never played team sports, the answer is no.
The more people that are on a team, the less likely it is they will all get along.
So your statement is true in regards to most team sports, but not to the Mosconi Cup teams; which consist of only 5 players.
If you are on a team with only 5 players, and not everyone gets along, you aren't going to win. I don't care how talented each individual is on the team.
Not true. I played on a Softball team that won State and National Championship. We made one super team by combining 2 very good teams from the year before. We didn't like them much before, but man, did we hate them even more when we stated playing with them.
So, we had 12 folks on the team, 6 from our old team and 6 from their old team, and we disliked each other so much, that we didn't speak much after the wins even though we still had to go to World Tournament in Dallas to play. We played well, but teams from 7 countries, and pretty much every top team from all 50 states, and we just got beat by better teams.
Again, he's not going to piss off his team mates. SVB likes him, Justin wants to play with him, and the other young guns are not such such sensitive snowflakes like you see in today's societyI think it will roll off their backs like water off a duck !! Plus, after 7 years of losing, do we really have anything to lose ?

Yes, I agree with team chemistry is important but it's overrated by a lot especially on Facebook and here. Chemistry don't win as much as talent, practice, heart, and desire to win all that stuff is way more important than liking your teammate.
I agree.
What are your feelings about Earl possibly being on the team?
JAM,
I didn't want to do it, but your reference to him having a "hard-on" for Earl forced me.
A long time ago, II was trying to figure out how BeiberLvr got his name and I figured he must love Justin Bieber, then I realized that the spelling was different than Bieber's name.
So, I did a search on Google for "beiber" and here is what came up

I don't think I'd want to be posting on forums, with a name like BeiberLvr

I am so grateful that I know how to spell. :embarrassed2::wink::wink::grin-square:
