Pyramid, Carom and Pool players are you interested in a new training aid.

How do you get an OB to track straight with a string attached to it?

You either suck at trolling or suck at thinking...pick one.

There is a tradeoff. The training aid is designed to help players practice aiming at a specific shot without having to move out of your stroking position.

The thinner the string the less the tracking errors, the thinner string also means reduced tensile strength. The thinner rope means it will break easy from pulling.

Any intellectual deficiency towards physics or material science are always welcomed? Reading books is difficult.

Apparently common sense is even harder for some.

That is not the same as a ball retriever.
My technology allows a player to practice pocketing the same shot without having to walk to the ball return or the pocket catch.
Now, seriously, with all my regret I have to inform you that there have been DIY systems where the full rack of balls is loaded and they get spotted one by one at one's will (basically, touch of a button on remote control). "No strings attached" ("just free love", as they sing). Pure and clean object ball, spotted precisely.
Sorry to have broken your castles of glass and paper.

Isnt moving into the "stroking position" an indispensable part of what's being practiced?

You're advocating going down on the shot and just staying there stroke after stroke?

Do you know Henrik Larsson? There is a subclass of pool players, people with different physical skill sets (Disabilities or challenges or whatever the PC term is).

These training aids are invented to make it easier for them to practice specific skills. Specific skills like staying in one position and repeat stroking.

Am I saying this is a training aid for all people? No.
Is it a training aid that doesn't exist? Yes

Your welcome. Most normal people say thank you, when free inventions are thrown directly at them.

Spoiler: The alternate cue tip material is finishing up. Enhancing the bio luminosity of billiard balls to help low vision players is almost done. A few other special projects are in the works as well. Creating solutions for players with Parkinson's is also in the pipeline.

Post a picture or post a link to the product.

Aside from the obvious problems, this won't work if you have a ball return instead of pockets. Just put the other 14 balls near where you want to shoot and go through them. Easiest thing to do.

It's not easy being misunderstood because of you're genius.

I, for one, salute you.

He does NOT suck at trolling, as he gets plenty of responses.

If you folks stopped giving him attention, he would stop posting this nonsense.

Tying a piece of string to something you want to keep track of is not an invention.

Even if it was, the real challenge is fully developing something into a viable product. Anybody can toss out free ideas, priced at exactly what they are worth.

At least do some research, a much smarter concept has been around in golf for about 50 years. Reconfigure this idea to drop into a pocket and spit balls back out.
