First of all, I apologize for the delay and I thank you for your patience. I had planned on a rematch earlier in the year, but life gets in the way.

We will play the same game we played at the BCAPL Championships earlier this year. The details were:

- Race to 21
- Rack your own
- Lag for the first break
- Nine-ball on the break doesn't count in the bottom two pockets
- Cue ball fouls only
- Jump cues allowed

The original bet was $2,000. This time, the bet will be $4,000.

I would like to play on Thursday, October 21, when you are done with your matches for the day at the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships. If you happen to play very late into the evening at the tournament, we can reschedule for Friday the 22nd. I propose we play at Q-Master in Virginia Beach, on one of their 9ft Diamond tables.

Please reply as soon as possible.

I shall look for your response in this thread.

:)

And on the east coast, too....

(that 3am local start time just about did me in that weekend, heh)

This is cool. Hope it all works out for both ladies.

It sounds like Borana has agreed to this bet amount but can't tell for sure. Melinda, were you asking for her confirmation for the times or for the whole proposed bet? I watched the entire first match til morning and would love to sweat this one too. Hope it starts earlier this time.

These dates do not work for me because I am only taking monday and tuesday off of that U.S open week, returning tuesday night to NY. I have a job and can not stay the whole week.
For the future... you have my number. I am done with the threads bs.

I'd love to have seen this match and I hate to hear that you are leaving on Tuesday because that's the day i'm arriving (in the afternoon). Good luck if you do get to play this match.......

That is unfortunate.

I also have a job and I specifically scheduled my days off request for later in the week as I didn't want to interfere with your tournament. I figured the tournament ran to Saturday and, by Thursday, there would be less matches and it would be easier on your schedule.

I do not believe this is "threads bs". You have a lot of fans who read this forum and the first match was set up this way.

That first match worked out extremely well for you, since you won it.

What you have to say to me and what I have to say to you may be said in front of everyone. If you have taken offense at the way I have worded my request for a rematch, I apologize. I thought I was straightforward and polite, but over the internet, many things may be misconstrued.

If this is going to be streamed, just one request please: If there's one camera, let it be at the foot of the table :wink::wink:

Thank you.

What if you make it past tuesday? Just forfeit to return to work?

Get it on, us lames like to sweat pool and with these new phones these days its even easier to do than ever.

Come to NY and play on a Diamond. Then after, head down to the Open for the rest of the weekend.

Rest assured that you are not the only one who has a job.

I would be willing to bet that Melinda had a harder time saving up the $4k, than you would (did?) finding 40 people to put up $100 a piece.

And Melinda shouldn't have to apologize for the manner in which she requested a rematch on here. She was very polite, concise, and willing to afford you practically every accommodation available.

I find it a shame that everything has to be 100% your way for Melinda to have a shot at winning her $$$ back.

We both know if Melinda would have won the first time around there would be ZERO talk of a rematch.

* Of course you'll probably just dismiss this post as more "threads bs", but maybe, just maybe, you'll forgive me for thinking that women's pool should be something more than just a beauty pageant.

Have fun at your photo shoot... I mean, PR event... I mean, the U.S. Open.

Scheduling a $4k match with someone on the other side of the country, assuming what their schedule is and making arrangements without even talking with them about it, uh, well, doesn't seem that, well, whatever.
