QueenB: Rematch at Q-Master

the table they played on did not have 3.8 pockets.

a few days after their match i played applton on the same table.
it was fair not tight .

I was talking about Table 6 at the Hardtimes in Bellflower, CA.

"There was a SoCal Womens Tourney at the Hardtimes a couple of weeks ago with the streaming on Table 6 with said 3.8" wide pockets."

Peace.

Just wondering... I saw that Accustat was willing to provide stream and stat. It sounds like a great opportunity.

However, both ladies are going to be at the US Open in VA with or without stream or stats. Did any definite answer come out of this rematch or is it a no go?

And on a separate note - whoever is commentating with Jennifer Barretta is slightly irritating me. She interrupts, talks over the 2 other commentators, and makes some comments that make me believe she isn't very experienced. For her to say that Karen would start playing around and testing the rails because she has a 5-0 lead is ridiculous. Karen doesn't need to test the table, and Karen definitely doesn't lessen up just because she is in the lead. And she keeps arguing with Jennifer when Jennifer is dead right. Who is she?

Did you ever figure out who the commentator was? I can't remember but your post has me curious now.

I do not know who it was, but she needs to learn a little more about manners and a lot more about pool. It felt like listening to a small child who keeps interrupting to get attention. Not a collaborative effort to talk about the match.

I hope she learns from the experience. I think it is terrific that the WPBA encourages the players to commentate for the other players. But the gals need a little work to sound professional. And for the newer girls - they should really show deference to the knowledge of the more experienced players.

I recall an argument between 2 players at the San Diego Classic earlier this year. Once again, it was Jennifer Barretta in the booth, but I do not remember who was with her. They were discussing the wing ball, and the girl with Jennifer clearly did not know which ball the wing ball was. They argued for a few minutes about it. Even the chat room got involved to let this gal know that Jennifer was right. I was so embarrassed for this girl, because she was trying to sound knowledgeable about the game but came off sounding completely amateurish. It was bad for her.

Highly unlikely that this rematch will go down at the U.S. Open...

These dates do not work for me because I am only taking monday and tuesday off of that U.S open week, returning tuesday night to NY. I have a job and can not stay the whole week.
For the future... you have my number. I am done with the threads bs.
What if you make it past tuesday? Just forfeit to return to work?

It will not take place at the US Open in VA. Unlike Q' B', Melinda isn't invited to play there.

“…Anytime Melinda wants to play, just come to New York anytime she wants and I will play her…”

Anyone can play in the US Open, all they have to do is pay the $500 entry fee. In this case, Borana's $500 was paid by Jim Murnak.
