I picked up a couple of Lucasi Hybrid cues and noticed that each has a number on the butt. The LHF50 has 1007 and the LHF69 has 116. Does anyone know what these numbers mean?

I have a standard Lucasi cue and it has 711 on it.
Some time back it was posted that this was the date it was made. I really do not know.

It is the manufacture date. First number is the year, second number is the month. So your LHF50 was made in July 2010. Your LHF69 was made in June of 2011.

Hope this helps!

Mine has 711 on it. So it was made in November of 07. I bought it in about June of 09. So where was it for almost 2 years?

Actually, it's probably a good thing to buy a two year old cue that's brand new. If it's straight when you get it at least you know the wood hasn't moved for two years anyway.

This sometimes looked upon as a second rate cue(Lucasi) is dead straight and all the parts are the same as they were when I got it,nothing has moved ,swollen or shrank. So if it is 5 or so years old it's doing good.
You know 5 year olds can be brats. :)
