The way I look at it is you posted the thread making you the seller. So he should send it to you first if you have never done business with him before, no difrent than a cash deal. JMHO.

Jager Monster..thanks for your input....duely noted....I agree on that one...if you are wanting to do buisiness with a seller...cover your butt by asking around to other members about the person your doing buisiness with...and if you are buying from me...you send me your merchandise first, when I recieve it, mine goes out to the buyer

I would not take the chance. I would request them to ship the cue to me, then, once I received it, I would ship their cue to them.

Another option is the escrow service offered by FastnLoose or someone else.

Also, what is the shipping address of the potential trader? That might help.

I was recently scammed and have not gotten anything back from the scammer. The names involved in that were Yuri Bayanin, Lam Yumi, Tony Hong, and Hong Kong. Several others were almost scammed by a variety of the same folks.

Proceed with caution. A scammer will feed on your willingness to acquire a nice, new cue. A non-scammer will have no problem with using excrow. Escrow will only cost $20 plus the additional shipping. I think you should offer to pay for escrow and see how it is received.

BINGO was his Name-O excellent idea BAMA...that should pretty much weed them out....

Yeppers. I agree with everyone else.

The fact that you started this thread is enough proof to say where your gut feeling is ( I agree to be cautious).

If I were you, I would handle it exactly this way

1 suggest to have him ship the cues, and upon recieving them you will ship yours. If for any reason you are not happy you will pay to ship his cues back to him.

2 if he does not like that option, suggest the escrow ( TOTALLY worth it in my opinion). Maybe you can split the cost ( $10 each) because it is an even trade and not a cash deal.

3 If he won't do 1 or 2 , WALK AWAY!

I've done several trade deals on AZ and so far all of them when smoothly. It's not easy but it can be done. I had minor hick up where both party would agree to shipped on a certain date but it didn't happen. But, I knew the other party would pull through just from my conversation with them.

The best thing to do is first call the person up personally and then you might have a better idea with who you're dealing with. You should be able to get a sense if the other party know what they're talking about. Ask questions and sometime your gut know if the person can or can not trusted.

Duc.
