Questionable/shady dealings here on az opinions wanted

That HAD to have been staged! (didn't it?) remember he had the shaky camera thing on the delivery person coming up the drive?

Classic AZ cue drama, but hey, what about you rolling kerplunk - pause - kerplunk wobbly that Palmer you received and uTubed it as your response to the seller telling you the cue was straight when he sent it?

TRUE CLASSIC STUFF

[/And yeah here, 2 super fine guys get stuck in some circumstances and it gets a little shitty. I do believe that this is the definition of "shit happens". All you can do is hope nobody gets hurt and try to escape the situation without adding more hate into an already hate-choked world.

Circumstances?? hahhahaha

I know what you wrote here is directed at Kevin but I have to ask you.

Do you have anything with substance to add to this conversation?

So far, all I have seen from you is nonsensical bs like hahahaha and you got hosed and telling me my light bulb needs new wiring.

Seriously, are these childish pot shots all you got?

I am challenging you to either provide your take on this situation like an adult would share or maybe you should just stfu.

sound reasonable?

It certainly seems different from living in yours. I like my world and if you like yours, its all good. Sorry you don't agree with my take on this one. I'm sure its just me.

Thanks

Kevin

bad deal

tate i have to disagree with your last post. i never hardlined anyone. if you read the emails i attempted to alter the deal numerous times to complete it. i offered to take another cue, i offered to accept all cash, i offered to sell the cue to brians friend if we completed the trade.

none of these options were even discussed.

if anything i believe i was completely civil in all of our conversations. did brian sense that i was pissed off? im sure he did and i truely think i had every reason to be. more so now that i havent had my cue back 10 days later.

Ron;

It's hard for me to believe the post office is this screwed up.

FWIW, I again spoke with Jenna at my PO about an hour ago to ask her how is it possible that this package has now shown on tracking leaving Nashua New Hampshire 5 days after leaving here.

It is like when you shipped, how it took 5 days to arrive here at my PO, which is only about 100 miles away. Poor service!

She said she's in disbelief, herself, but that she still thinks the temporary shutdown at the Wallingford, CT hub has caused this delay - she said she has seen this happening with other packages, as well.

There was no way to have predicted this.

If I ever dreamed there would be this much bs with it, I would have taken the package and drove it to you.

seriously.

this is completely out of my control but I will again say, I am sorry.

best,
brian kc

bad deal

brian its over and done with. like you said you have nothing to do with it and any issues i may have are now with our U.S. postal system.

lesson learned on my part.

silly me for shipping out a cue as quickly as possible once a deal has been reached. what an idiot i am ha ha ha

He actually said that??
Priceless!

Shady Dealings

Actually there are a couple of very disturbing things in the transaction and like he said.. its not all black and white.

However, why not take the delivery, send the cue back, like he should have. it is my understanding that the postage return will be owed by Ron. It is also my understanding that the insurance is not applicable on the return to Ron. My opinion is someone was to cheap to do the right thing. This is my opinion.

The other thing that is disturbing is the use of I'll just say I am unhappy with the deal, or however it was delivered. I do not want to take it out of context since it wasn't said to me. However I see that as a threat to undo the deal before receiving the cue. I probably wouldn't take that as well as Ron did. I don't think I would ever let anyone forget that this person did it to me in this way. If this was said in this way, its absolutely the most douchebag thing I think someone could do in this case.

At a minimum, Ron should have kept any funds UNTIL the cue was back in his possession and HE was ok with the return.

BTW, not that I am doubting Brians intent, but no one here knows if Brian was offered another 100 by someone else. I mean to not pay the return shipping and ensure the safe return on something HE botched, I am sorry, just to many coincidences...

I will give Brian the benefit of the doubt and credit for trying to undo it as quickly as he could, but once the wheels are in motion and agreed upon, the person cancelling has all the obligation to make sure everything ends up back to even, and square one. Regardless of how Ron acted, he had every right to be pissed, and act pissy, Brian you needed to suck it up and do EVERYTHING right.

JV

I have to agree with this also. I can understand forgetting about a promise on a first right of refusal and then have to keeping my original promise. I'm 60 years old and can forget things like this. However he should of accepted the cue and returned it immediately the same way it was sent. I don't care if it costs 50.00 or more. You just don't go cheap when you are out of line to begin with. I just hope the OP gets his cue back and its not warped from setting around in a hot place.

The cue *is* going back the same way it came.

As explained earlier, this package took way longer than it should have on its way in to my PO. And now, it seems like the same nonsense is happening on its way back.

The postmaster and parcel rep at my local PO both feel the ridiculous delays (both ways) are likely the result of a temporary shutdown at the Wallingford, CT hub.

Only they could have done something about that.

As of 4 am this morning, the package has left the Springfield, MA service center which I know is a big hub.

FTR, it hasn't been hot here.

USPS is a joke.

best,
brian

God, I've has the exact thing happen. The hub for your PO sees the address and thinks its a regular delivery. The last time I had a thing like this happen, I opened a case with USPS and the next time it got to my hub it was delivered (returned) to me instead of turning back around in that hideous loop. I don't know if it was coincidence or if the case opening fixed things. I do know the hubs are almost impossible to contact by phone.

I know this is stupid, but I assume you specifically remember having a return address on it. By the way, I would like to make the hindsight observation that this deal is snakebit.

your cue is scheduled to be delivered today and I know you saw that on usps tracking so you must have figured you'll take one more shot at me, right?

the fact that I made an honest mistake and apologized profusely to you for it wasn't enough for you.

And to add drama and gain sympathy I see in your dated flow chart above you omitted the fact that the cue took a crazy long time to make it from your PO to mine at the beginning of this saga, likely because of the CT hub having been shut down, that according to my postmaster and parcel clerk.

that's all my fault, right?

after all, I am the Postmaster General.

By the way, thanks for the Jensen, Brian. I always wanted THAT one.

At least Ron has a sense of humor. Kevin should have doubled or nothing me. I predicted it would arrive yesterday.

All's well that ends well, sort of. I'm waiting for the video of the mailman delivering the package, Ron opening it with a Damascus bladed Meridian knife, and pouring out a pile of woodchips and chicken parts.

If it makes it out to Colorado, I'll try to grab it for you before it gets away again

Ron is no opening that package today. it hit his delivery hub, they saw the original shipping label and figured it was a regular shipment and sent it back to Brian.

This could be the never-ending loop. I've had the exact thing happen to me.
