I sent a cue to Proficient Billards.
Cue Butt , Two Shafts , Ferrules , Tips , String.
I was told the work would be over $400.00 in place of the usual $210.00.
Wouldn't accept Credit Card.
Wanted me to send Cashiers Check made out to Scott Sherbine personally.
Then told there will be an Storage Fee of $40.00 Dollars Daily.
AND - The Cake Iced With , "Do I Know You?"
I guess you need to be Spoecial to business with Proficient Billards or...

YOU DONT GET YOUR EQUIPTMENT RETURNED!!

In Place of refusing the job and send equipment back , HE KEEPS IT.

I don't know why your experience was different but I had no problem paying online with a CC and the prices were on the work order form I filled out and sent in with my shafts.

I found nobody better to do refinish and tip work. Prices always as stated for the work performed. Work done on time and shipped back with no surprises.

That has not been my experience either. I’ve sent over 12 cues over the last 3 years, nothing but excellent service and quick turn around. They’ve always taken credit card payments.

I've had several cues refinished, rewrapped and re-pinned by Scott and have always been more than satisfied with his work. Never a problem and he is usually accurate about the time it will take to do the job, depending on his workload at that time.

I do not know Scott personally nor have I ever met him in person but he has not only done excellent work for me but when he does call its always very professional and down to earth.

Not saying you are full of it, but why did he treat me (and numerous others here) so good and you so bad?

I will stand behind his work and continue to recommend him to anyone who asks.

I have had a bunch of work done at Proficient with no Problems ever!
They did everything I asked and on time. They refinish some monster cues worth big $ so
I find what you are saying hard to believe. Proficient is first class!

There is likely much more to this story. Doesn't sound like Scot in the slightest to me.

No complaints here. Aside from a few refinishes Scott redid a Dufferin conversion that someone screwed up. He’s good. He’s quick.

I have never had a problem with their work quality or time to do the work - includes cue refinish, tips, shaft tapers, etc. I do think that Muellers cue repair guy- Troy Downey- does the best shaft reconditioning work that is INCLUDED, with the price of a new tip install - but Muellers turn around time is usually much longer than Scott's at Proficient

I have used Scott on several occasions. One cue needed the handle area turned down some and refinished, the other cue I needed a refinish and the shafts sprayed.

He did both jobs in the allotted time, and price quoted.

He does great work, at a reasonable price.
