Rack-A-Shot

Received mine in Saturday's mail plan to look / work through it this week.
May even bring it to the pool room for others to check out and try.

Thanks,
Dom

Arrived this morning

Hello,
My Rack-A-Shot arrived this morning via Priority Mail. I will give the system a try out later this week when I can get to a table.

Thanks

Headmuses.

Got mine this weekend as well, got a chance to look through the booklet. I can see a value in learning these shots and can see where it would help to understand the various caroms and ball relationships in certain situations. I should be able to do all the shots in the book with some practice. My teams will be working on them (and recording them) in the next couple weeks.

Thanks again,

The deal is that all who were given a Rack-A-Shot should send a video. However, for all (even if you are a purchaser) who send a video, there is going to be a special bonus. Each video will have a name. I hope it will be OK with all of you that the name will be your forum user name. The deal is open to anyone.

When another purchases a Rack-A-Shot because of your video, you will receive $10 and $5 will go into a fund for future competitions. So when the purchaser fills out the "Add special instructions to seller" and adds your user name you get the money. As long as you allow us to use your video, you get the money. We, on any site we or you put the videos (any video that will sell Rack-A-Shot), will pay the money to you if the order comes in your name.

So, there is the deal. Help me refine it--if you will. I am open to any suggestions. If the video is good and you or your team sell the Rack-A-Shot system, you will receive payment.

Again, I want you to know this: I am here to sell millions of Rack-A-Shot systems. I am not here to make a large personal profit. Those behind the production of Rack-A-Shot must live, but, whatever the greater profit is, it will in some way go to the poor in the name of the Billiards community.

Blessings,

Keith

Are all 18 out? If not I am in. Let me know.

BVal
Go to our site and send an email with your address and we will count you in by sending you a Rack-A-Shot. Please though, make a video of at least one shot and send it to us. Another thing, please read all the posts on this thread. We need advice from all involved on how to promote our product. We think Rack-A-Shot can be a great advantage to the billiards and pool community.

To all: BVal will for sure be the last to receive a Rack-A-Shot system.

Thanks for all of your responses—please keep them coming. Ask questions about the shots and give advice to others on how to make them. Give us your true feelings about Rack-A-Shot and the learning process it gives to us.

Blessings

Does anyone know who to ask if we might get a forum for Rack-A-Shot questions and answers going? Or, if it might even be allowed. I do not want to push our luck though. Should I wait to find out if you all like the product?

I can't wait for you all to begin to respond. I will live through it if you do not like Rack-A-Shot, however, I don't think you can blame me for being anxious.

Thanks, I will do that...

Keith

Just to let you know, I received mine and took it to the pool hall last night. We all had a real good time playing with it and it works great! We have a guy bringing a video camera in this Thur night and will video my shot.

There are a couple mistakes in the book for shot number 10.
One is that top picture shows the balls in holes 13, 16 and 17 (which is correct), but the bottom picture with the sightlines shows the balls in holes 2, 3 and 6. The top picture is correct.
Also, the stabilizer ball shows to be in hole 2 (hole 17 in bottom), but it really should be in hole 3 (or it is not stable ;) ...

We plan on having lots of fun Thursday and will get you a good video ;-)

Thanks,
Larry

You are right!

Thank you for the heads up! I noticed that too shortly before I sent it to you. I'm the one to blame because I re-did the original book. We will make the correction in the next edition. I'm really glad you were able to figure it out!

Thanks again,
Margie

I hope everyone will nit-pick all of the system to death. We want to make any and all corrections as soon as possible.

Thanks to you all...

Keith

I had a little bit of time to play around with the Rack-a-shot yesterday. It's a neat device that will help you set up certain shots and you can learn about aim lines and tangents if you pay attention. Maybe I have tough time getting oriented, but I was always flipping the book and/or rack upside down to try to figure out which holes were which. Maybe you could put numbers on the template to ID the holes? Unfortunately I couldn't get a video in because there was some extracurricular stuff going on in the room where I was shooting, but hopefully I can try again by the weekend.

I agree with 1Hit...It would really help to number the template. I made small numbered tags and stuck them on my template.
