I gotta know!!!

So this is the thread I was hearing about this weekend!!! Sooooo.... since I didn't stick around for the last day....

What happened??? Did you once again put him in his place, Linda?;) After reading this thread, I'm actually more curious about that than who won the qualifier. :)

He is already in his place and is reluctant to challenge THE QUEEN again.

Big upsets this weekend, but the best player won, Aileen Pippen (can't remember her married name) went through undefeated and won 9-0 in the finals against Kim Jones. Aileen ran almost every rack from the break or the 1. She did get one lucky fluke where she missed the 8 and came off one rail down table and smacked the 9 ball in which was sitting in the middle of the table.

There was one tough bracket with all the champions in it and one easy bracket with only a couple good players. That's why for the most part, you will see unfamiliar names that made it to the top.

Poor me... I beat both of my passengers to the tournament, Joanne Ashton (stuck 6-1 and came back to win 7-6) and Kerry Impson to get into the money. By then, I was hitting my stride and playing well, 7-3? The ride home could have been really ugly. But after several rounds of raspberry martinis for the girls, they were feeling no pain. :p

A magnamious Queen deserves to have subjects who will kiss her feet. If Umma's lips aren't qualified to kiss your pedicure, maybe your other royal subjects, Joanne and Kerry, are more qualified to kiss the royal feet? :eek: :p

LOL! Nay, I have slept with both of them and we would just be going backwards to get kisses. :eek:

<Clarification, as we all know there are some who would like to misconstrue The Queen's words: I have slept in the same room as both of them. :D >

Now the Dutchess of Doom has already been taken, (excellent lineage, BTW) but by virtue of your excellent postings, especially in the NPR section, I forthwith declare that heretofore Eydie Romano will be known to all as Eydie, Princess of Wails.

It's Dimmick or Dimmik. She shot very well.
 
Aileen did shoot well. Unfortunately for me, she came into her stroke halfway through her second match and I ended up being her third.:( I have been severly humbled..... I have to say, I was very impressed.

Ha, cute Queen reference. Tonight, I played Asiasdad. He and his girlfriend came by the poolroom. He must have gotten bored waiting for me to lose in the tournament. I lost both of my matches 3-4, and ended up 7/8. He had to wait about 3 hours for a chance to play me, though.

We couldn't make up our mind what to play, so we decided on a race to 2 in 9ball, race to 2 in 8 ball, and 1 game of 1pocket. Sad to say, Asiasdad lost all 3 sets. :eek:

Still the champ!!

I just got home myself. Mike wants to know if you want to play in the IPT mini-Q we are holding on July 8 at Dr. Cue's. $150 entry fee + $10 green fee. Races to 10.

Entry to win is the Jillian's World Qualifier with the $1500 entry fee. So far, we have 8 signed up.

My weightith groweth by the dayeth. I am not a one pocket QUEEN as yet, and my advisors sayeth don't giveth up the day job. However, my noble lineage verily shouteth out to take on all knaves and curs with my royal mantle and cue (or Q for QUEEN), no matter how disadvantaged one is perceived.

I will just try to bury you in the stacketh. <Starting to sound like Sylvester and Tweety Bird!> :p
