Ran my first rack today!

Big step

Congratulations !!!

It's a great feeling !!!

That feeling ..... is why we play.

The first one is always the hardest.

Congrats and I hope there are many more in your future.

Call me a slow learner. Finally ran my first 9 ball rack today (1 and out from opponent's miss) Only took me 20 years LOL... I am back into competitive play with my league and enjoying every minute. Just had to share...

If you can do it once you can do it again! I think running my first rack was what actually hooked me on this game in the first place...

Hmmm, in 20 years I'll be 79 years old. I guess I got a late start so I need to make up for lost time.

Muchos Congratos!

Good for you! It is a great thing to finally accomplish.

I ran my first rack in 9 ball league years ago and the fine gentleman I was playing against ran up to me and declared I was cheating. Took the wind from my sails and completely boggled me at the same time.

Keep enjoying that feeling and use that confidence to run your next one. It is amazing how confidence can help .. saying "i've done this before" is way more helpful than thinking "i've never done this".

Running the rack for the first time is a bigger deal than most give it. Once you know you have the skill to run the rack it helps you relax late in the runout. Congrats to you in joining the club. Johnnyt

It was in 1955, and I can remember the feeling as if it were yesterday.
Got the same thrill when I bowled my first 200 game a few months later...

Congratulations, it's a big milestone. I still remember the day I ran all 15 off the table -- just shooting them any order any pocket -- I was ecstatic.

Really, your first run out? Seriously, John, I wouldn't have expected that! Thought it would have been much sooner, all those afternoons in TPBL. LOL!
Enjoy yourself, I'm having a hard time becoming that enthused any more:embarrassed2:

Hi Gary - yeah, I had to calm down and take the game seriously. Pokin' and hopin' wasn't gonna cut it anymore. So glad that later in life I kept with it and rediscovered just how much I love it! :)

Thanks all for the wishes - what a great group here on AZB!
