Rare Footage of Rudolf Wanderone

I owned nerf pool and nerf ping pong. Nerf ping pong was way more like real ping pong than nerf pool is to pool.

Because of this video, you now owe me $20. Spur of the moment thing with my son going "we have to get this", I was the only bidder.

I tried to grow marijuana on my Chia Pet. Didn't work.

That was pretty cool. I instantly wondered how they would keep the Nerf balls on the table. Ha, it had rails for it too.

That was back in the day, way before video games. when people used to break out the
Hockey Game or a board game and the Family had some quality time together.

I had one of those Hockey Games. Many hours of fun.

Had this when I was a kid... it sucked. Great video though!

I'm sure it will be totally horrible for a pool player, but my 8 yr old will probably enjoy playing her brother. If they use it a dozen times I figure it's worth the $22 I spend on getting one off ebay hehe.

I was about 7 or 8 when I had this and not a pool player. It still sucked.

The balls all roll right the the "rails" or corner that the table leans too. Id be surprised if they used it a second time after the first.

I'll just set it up on the real pool table (although that is still waiting for cloth);) that should prevent any rolls.

I love the sound in the commercial. When he shoots the 8 in the corner you hear the sound effect of two regular pool balls "clacking" together. Somehow I don't think that is the sound the nerf balls make. :)

You would have to have another person watching the game with 2 tablespoons in their hand.

Clack them together at every shot to make it more realistic.

Ahhh, the game may have sucked, but if it was better you may have been posting to NerfWorld rather AZB.

...and think about this, we may have NEVER had Bonus Ball - it would have been Bonus Sponge (at least the initials may have been more accurate)

"...bonus ball scoreboard not included."

So if you got a set what would be the first thing you do? Make the pockets tighter? Buy a Simonis table cloth, Don't allow any jump shots? Just wondering.

Jump shots in nerf pool ??? :D  :rotflmao1::rotflmao1:

Thanks, I needed that ......

After Johnny Archer adjusted to the nerf set banking long, I watched him put up a ten pack, never losing his rhythm with no lint to pick.

Fats was one of a kind. If he were alive today pool in the USA would be a huge sport seen on TV every week. Look at what he did for Wide World of Sports and his Mosconi matches. The original huckster or snake oil salesman was he. He was so good at what he did that when he beat you out of your money you actually enjoyed it. For those old enough to remember, here are a few of Fats contemporaries. Most are from the 1950's and 60's but they made their mark.

Wrestling - Gorgeous George / Never worn a match yet he was paid the most in appearance money. " I am the Greatest." Who stole that line, hint, Muhammad Ali

Car Salesman - Cal Worthington / Never had a car he couldn't sell. His commercials we and are still the greatest. Go see Cal go see Cal go see Cal.

Body and Fender Man - Earl Scheib / "I'll paint any car any color for $39.99." "Right."

My hucksters are mostly regional to Southern California but I would like to hear from any others around the country.

This brings to mind a Steve Martin skit....
