Well there was no harm intended and i wasnt bashing Cushions but... i talked to a man i forget his name but.. he was playing on the far 9FT table and said that he took a lesson from you and it was a waste of money was his exact words then after watching from a distance as a women during your practice was wearing a glove on the wrong hand and looking at alot of bad form it just seemed like ill spent time at the table. having beginers practice shots when the fundamentals are off.

CRAIG FALES theres no egg on my face im sorry i cant spend every waking hour online, when your in the army you have alot of work to do.

and as far as i can tell you cant learn from people that cant play and why would you take lessons from someone thats a unknown when you could get lessons from Dee Adkins for even less and learn from someone that knows the game in all aspects. thats my opinion others have there own.
Since your addressing me specifically it sounded like you wanted to bash someone with no merit for it. You DO have egg on your face and just deal with it. And I don't spend all day online. This guy sounds like a Lee Mal-adjusted troll.

lessons

I took some lessons from a pro player one time -10 years back/ @ 50.00 per hr. After the lesson I rellize that all we did was played for 4 hrs. I didn't get nothing at all from it / could have been for many reasons. such as people watching / asking the pro questions ... I think everyone got a lesson including me. So now I watch tapes/ pros shoothing / and time on the table trying new things. I feel like a pro is a great player they all can't teach. He has to be looking for what the student is doing wrong and not what he (pro) is doing right. Kinda like golf lessons more 1 on 1 and not a group. before taking lessons I would be sure to ask questions before the sesson.

All I know

is that form and stance are the first most basic thing that should be learned before making any balls. I have taught over the years, to kids, men, and women, and you don't let 'bad habits' develop before learning the right way.

I don't know Trent and there is a chance that he was just trying to look out for the students. HOWEVER, when we do pool schools I try and keep onlookers away for 2 reasons, a) by hearing just a snipet here and there they really have no idea of what is going on and it is easy to get into this kind of situation. b) The students paid $200 for a class you didn't so unless you want to pay up and be a part of it please stay away this is not a free class for anyone.
I you want to pay and be in the class then walk away saying "that guy don't know how to play or teach" you have the option.
This may not be totally on the topic that everyone was on but jmo.

its 150 for 2 hours per student.

and just by watching you can tell hes creating problems.

and the students are like fresh like maybe have hit 10 serious racks in their lives.

i think if i see him in there again im going to pipe in.

That's what I would do. Don't check with the owner of the place or talk to the guy privately to find out what's going on. Just jump in there.
