That is not a Southwest cue, Jerry Franklin nor otherwise.

Someone thinks it is something with the price going up as it is. Care to wager an educated guess as to what it is? Or is it just speculation causing the bids?

It just goes to show how many gullible people there are. Always thinking they are getting something for nothing. Not this particular model but I have bought and resold very similar models of Kaiser cues, acquired from J&J, purchased wholesale with two shafts for 47.50. One pool hall near me was selling them for 279.00. I sold them for 100.00. A pretty good buy for a hundred but up to over 800.00? Ridiculous!

Never seen a Southwest cue that looks like that with the bumper removed. It could be a J&J America or other similar brand import cue, the bumper and the weight bolt itself are both parts that are present on many imports.
I send the seller a message days ago regarding the bumper and weight bolt and other details. If you look at the pic that shows the tops of the points, the 2 long points, the lengths don't look like they match enough to be of even early S.W. quality. Looks like at least 1/4" difference in height. And the top of the points don't look as razor sharp as they should be. Not sure if it should have the thin black rings right above and below the wrap (neither of my 2 have them). There is some space around the bottom of the joint pin where you can see below the wood line, (on mine, there is no space at the bottom of the pins.
Bidding was over 2k when I wrote this. I think someone is going to be really disappointed in a few days unless it gets canceled. At least he has 14 day return....... just my .02,,, worth about .0005 in today's market!

I also sent the buyer an email asking him to send the cue to SW for authentication before posting here. I was 99% sure the cue was not a SW, but, did not voice my opinion to the seller. I simply offered advice.
To be honest, we should not just mind our own business. We should make complaints to ebay before this auction is over. It is a deceptive sale. If ebay gets like a few dozen complaints they may act.I send the seller a message days ago regarding the bumper and weight bolt and other details.
