Brother-in-law Billy is having his 7 ft Valley table recovered soon but for some reason he would like something other than Simonis (he's a bit cheap).:o

What mid priced brand and source would you recommend?

Thanks alot ......

New tables from Valley have 4045 Valley Ultra Teflon on them. The cloth is made by Championship.

If he's gonna be so cheap he won't pay whatever token amount extra Simonis costs, then just tell him to go to hobby store and get enough FELT to cover his table. If yer gonna go cheap, you gotta go REALLY cheap.

Thanks Kevin / John / Rick / Rusty. We will consider Simonis and Chanmpionship, at only $125 ~ $175 that appears to be the correct way to go.

I will tell you what not to get.... Titan Championship Felt. Believe me, it is crap! I know because I have it on my table.

Brunswick felt is not too expensive, and very nice. You can spill drinks on it and it will bead up. Just no peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. ;)

You want a quick laugh? This is the truth. Back when I had my poolroom I used to give lessons. One fella asked if I could go to his house, it was near by. When I got there he had a 6' table and for the cloth, he sprayed on some kind of auto seat fabric spray, directly on the slate. It was kind of like playing on fly paper :)

Needless to say, there was no lesson. Well, maybe for me there was. :)

LOL...... A good buddy ruined his table cloth when the stripper slopped around in whipped cream, whiskey, candlewax and peanut butter. I thought it was well worth it!

Any other good destructive table cloth stories out there??
