Hello all... I have an older scruggs sneaky that's got it's fair share of bumps & bruises.... Still played like a monster..... I'm wanting to get it refinished.... Who can you guys suggest ?!?

Cory Barnhart
Scot Sherbine
Ryan Theewan
Steve Klapp
....plenty of others around AZB, too

Scott Sherbine imo. Great work, easy to work with, and quick turnaround. If he says it'll be done in 2 weeks, it'll be done in 2 weeks.

Years ago, I called the shop with the same question. Mike Cochran asked me where I was located, and then recommended someone nearby; Mike Morgan from Long Island NY.

I'd suggest Bob Frey...He's as good as anyone else that's been listed...
...but it might take a bit longer...

Joey Gold. He makes Cognoscenti cues in Chicago, and his finish looks like the cue is dipped in glass. Also very durable.

Great choice!!! That is one maker that will help maintain the value of the cue.

How long did it take to get the cue back?

Your answer

I would say Mike Webb his finish is unreal it was super before and all the Webb owners would say he's tops when it comes to repairs! If you want his info PM me I'm not going to open post it. But he's the best for the job!

Never mind see you got it done!

Also had Bob Frey refinish my beat up Scruggs SP. Cue looks amazing, he got the wobble and all the dings out of a 30 year old cue. it looks brand new. On top of it, talk about turn around. I shipped the cue out on 12/26 and I got it back today 1/6. Absolutely great experience and Bob was a pleasure to chat with.

Only had Ryan Theewan at Mueller do work so far no need to change but it sounds like others guys good too.
