My third red for ed from my iphone just given. It takes a long time to spread rep from my phone but I care enough about this forum to make sure my billiard brothers aren't involved in a train wreck.

Giving red to the bad apples will make this forum a safer place to do business. I don't condemn people who aren't taking the time to help the cause but I am surprised when others are condemning us for fighting the good fight. I don't see their logic.
 
Wait, is Charlie getting the money back for the cue? Or is he paying to modify a cue, and then giving the cue back to eddie?
 
He's not getting any money back. He is paying to modify the cue out of his pocket then he is giving it back to Eddie so Eddie doesn't feel cheated or like he lost any money on the deal.

I am formally requesting that anyone that reads this thread...gives this man the red rep he deserves. This guy is the most colossal joke I've ever heard of...and that's across all walks of life...not just pool. There is no excuse for this guy NOT to receive hundreds of neg reps at this point. This guy is a fraud to the nth degree. Charlie...I'm damn near tempted to get funds together to more than compensate you for this cue...just so it can be burned on YouTube. In fact...anyone that wants to kick in money to do it...let me know. I feel as though by you playing with one of his cues...even being in possession of it...is a travesty. I couldn't live with myself holding something in my hands that that maroon put together...especially knowing its not what I ordered or paid my hard earned money for.

Yeah, that sounds a little 2nd grade-ish, but this is taking so long... And #11 red IS imminent, and working right now seems less interesting.

The winner could get something like...

2) A silver wheat toothpick?

3) Permission to use any R rated avatar (approved by SM) for a day?

I agree that pathological lying, using excessive exclamation points, and being unable to tell the difference between 6 and 8 points seems like the kind of behavior we'd expect from second graders, but it's an insult to second graders everywhere to compare them to Eddie Wheat.

There would be 11 people saving up their last bomb for this, and they would all fire in the same minute. There would be no way to determine a winner.

Thing that got me the most was how adament he was that the loan is was hoping to get (to pay off the courts) was a BUSINESS loan.

Get real dude. It was more akin to putting up bail!!!

Mrs. G, I refinished a Gold Crown, including the ball box and shelf. Getting all the white paint out of the ball shelf and sanding it was no picnic to say the least. :shocked2: I still wouldn't consider myself a woodworking expert by any stretch, but if you have any questions I can help with, let me know. :)

Mr. Wilson...how can you shake your head at that? Sometimes I feel like you have some kind of sympathy for Eddie...with all the threads about him that have been closed down. It's funny...because no sooner does one get shut down, than another gets started. There isn't a decent thing to say about this man...and as such...nothing that GETS said...is anywhere near decent.

And like someone else said...people have been banned for less. What does this a$$clown have to do before he gets banned? He contributes absolutely NOTHING positive to this environment. Every time he opens that lying piehole of his...you get 15 page threads like this...which I KNOW you absolutely adore. I already lost money in that deal so what's a few more dollars at this point !

I offered to rectify this at NO CHARGE and that's the best I can and are going to do !

At least KV is being left alone finally !

For those of you who think that only the ones with a "dog in the hunt" should have a voice in the matter....I must disagree.

We may all be individuals doing private transactions with eachother, but when taken as a whole, AZb members form a COMMUNITY. And as a community, when we see a wrong happening, it is our OBLIGATION to speak out for the good of the community.

Let's parallel this with your own community neighborhood back home. If you saw that the 15-year old girl next door is getting raped by another neighbor..... should the community not speak out against that? Or is it none of their business, because they have "no dog in the hunt"?

Whether you believe it or not, AZb IS A COMMUNITY. And as members, we hold certain responsibilities as well as obligations to ensure that the community functions well and that the members are informed and protected from the likes of Mr. Wheat and his business practices.

AZb is not a free-for-all, every-man-for-himself type of forum. If I wanted that, I would have joined Ebaum's World or something like that.

I sent the shafts out to another cuemaker to have them shortened to the length they should have been to start with, 29''. They had come in at 30.3".

Before the shafts came back I decided to give this cue back to EW as a gift because he claimed that he was the true victim here because he gave me such a great deal on the cue that he was losing money and that I was treating him unfairly. I should have kept my mouth shut concerning any of this mess he created, according to Mr. Wheat.

Eddie Wheat wants to make it appear that I tried to get over on him.

If he were losing money on me... and I doubt that, he would be the first cuemaker to ever be able to make that claim. I shutting down that nonsense right here and now.

I got the shafts back today, and the cue will go out Priority Mail sometimes tomorrow. Then I can shoot the finger at this deal and say good riddance to this very unpleasant event, that I in no way, shape, form, or fashion created.

I agree, that contest would never work, but for a different reason. Smorg is already a shoe in to win because he will be able to reach him long before anyone else. Eddie could still be hundreds of spots out and in one fell swoop Smorg is going to bomb him into #1. Get 'em Smorg!
