Call it what you want.........all I did in this thread was give kudos to Ratcues for offering a free cue.........nothing more or less.....and I get red repped for it.......stupid...........

i am just me - and being me i know i am both a little strange, but also compassionate. so please let me say my piece and i will not say more - my thoughts:

in a way i agree completely with you, no contest. but in another way, you are closing the door to having a happy ending for both you and ew too. i most of all do not want to add to your unhappiness and if you do not answer this post i will not say another word here. i am foolish mostly and a bit hot headed, but i am not a complete fool.

i will just ramble now - there is such a sad thread in this section now, one of true and devastating sadness. my point... please allow things in life to "be corrected", and unfortunately, some things in life can not be [hense my reference to the 'other' thread].

i just ask you this my friend, please let willee do a little magic, and just see if that makes all the difference for you. if not, do whatever. but if so, all we can all say is: you were right from the outset.

i just hope you will give my thoughts a little time and consideration - but know this: it will be a blessing if after willee trys to correct your shafts that this cue will be a wonderful cue for you.

to others:
most of us work for others. and cue makers, while working for 'others' are their own business. i am sorry but to me none of us has the right to 'not' allow someone to make a living to feed him/herself and family.

please think and be compassionate.

to me ew is just a foolish man [in my opinion]. when i was younger [maybe even yesterday] i was more foolish than today.

please, let's not destroy another soul. as individuals we would never do that, so we must be careful not to be a ruthless gang on computers - set to destroy another.

It's amazing how much people care about red reps, the way I look at is the same way I look at people who say "man, he dogged that ball" or "she played that totally wrong!!". Sure some are over the top and demeaning, but most red reps people post about are trivial "I don't think so buddy, you are wrong" type of responses.

If red reps were given out at pool halls when someone said something negative about them the WHOLE POOL HALL would have a bunch of little red boxes around them. I try not to give them but I sure as hell don't care of someone gives them to me, I know when I say something that crosses the line and can't get mad at someone for pointing it out to me.

Look, you asked a question, and I answered it (even though you already knew the answer). Given your history (those are the key words you are failing to take into consideration here) of being one of the most vocal and rabid supporters of the biggest con man this site has ever seen, Varney Cues, it was obvious that you were going to ruffle somebody's feathers when you made that post.

It did not cross my personal threshhold for giving bad rep (it's next to impossible to get me to give bad rep), but you had to have known that somebody would think it was going to deserve some red, so why cry about it after you went and did it anyway? Heck, when you then asked why you got the bad rep (knowing good and well why you got it), it almost made it tempting to bad rep that one...lol.

For the record though, I think you do deserve every bit of bad rep you get when you defend Mr Varney as a person or businessman (even though I have never bad rep'd you for it). There is nothing wrong with enjoying or even praising his cues, but you have continually defended his character and business practices, when both are clearly almost as bad as it gets.

Sorry Smokey, I don't ever want a newbie to come on to the forum and see wheat with any green rep.

Green rep is supposed to mean that you have done something good in the eyes of the forum members.

Wheat in my mind has done nothing good, and as long as I am a member of this board I hope to god that he never shafts another member again.

People that have RED rep under their name have done something or said something horrible.
The red shows new members that there is a problem and they should tread with caution dealing with this person.
You can say whatever you want about a mob, but what I see, is unity,
a family looking after one of their own and protecting others.

I don't like liars or cheats, I have no time for someone that has been caught up in fib after fib.

So for me the red continues every chance I get.

Reps are supposed to tell the good from the bad,
so that is how I see it.

I just completed my 2nd Red Rep Bomb run and I just moved Eddie from #454th place on page 16 to #570th, the last spot on the bottom of page 19.
