Interesting thread.

Kevin Trudeau's legal problems have been posted on here several times and it seems to be okay since he is supposed to be a member of the pool community. I didn't see the Eddie Wheat thread so I cannot say anything about it. More and more these days AZBilliards is becoming a "tree house" where some people can get away with things...and some cannot. I am just glad these headaches are not MY responsibility to deal with. The whole issue of money and selling things brought this out. Guess its time to put all the sale/buy threads in a "PAY" section, instead of doing it for free. If you are selling anything pool related it MUST be in there. Then it's "buyer beware" and if anyone has criminal records/ shady dealings/ etc you can blame yourself over it.

U R working on getting banned, cowboy ;)

Guys, there are a few of you testing the boundaries, so I'll clear them up for you all.

If I remove a post, and someone feels they can skirt that by re-posting it...that poster will be met with a Ban.

No questions asked.

If you guys feel the need to go digging through court records or whatever resources are out there and post them on the board, you run a serious risk of being banned.

I am not going to sit and judge why and what warrants anyone's record being thrashed in public here other than to say it WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.

if you think there is something that is relevant to AZ Billiards and are concerned, I strongly advise you to get permission before posting anyone's info here.

unless all of you want to play a game where your lives are transparent and all your private records can be made public don't start on anyone else's life.

Agreed! and Thank You!. Now for some forum business... What about that 1 unread private message that I have had... (that's not really there) for about a week now. I don't have any messages but it says I do.

Scroll down to the bottom of the list. It's the one dated 1969. Delete it. It was from the spam attack last week.

reply to Mr. Wilson

In general, I often hope the level civility and good manners would rise on this forum. (Good luck) :o

On this topic, however, I believe Mr. Wilson's policy, like all censorship, risks being overbroad, and unreasonably limiting of legitimate debate on pool related topics.

For instance, the criminal history of KT was posted here on existing relevant topics, and at a time when his trustworthiness and good faith were being fairly debated across the country. Alot was at stake, both financially for individuals and for the future of pool in general. It would have been unjust, IMO, to exclude that information from the rest of the forum members, under the circumstances.

To just dig up past offenses, or embarassing events, themselves not related to pool, and only to be shocking and hurtful, I agree should be out of bounds.

Bottom line, I would ask Mr. Wilson to exercise some discretion with his policy, at least.

Like the saying goes......there is a time and a place for everything.

When we reach that crossroads, I'll review the info ( or etc ) being posted and make a descision at that time.

Nothing new under the sun.

I just think it sucks when a poster's true colors come out and then the whole thread gets deleted.

Please don't post anything in the threads that I start or in response to anything I say and I will do the same for you.

Thanks,

Well I will take that request under advisement.

all things considered

I am here to complain abut a thread I started titeled 'equality' being pulled.
It showed a group of male models in their underwear standing around a pool table in their underwear. I received a red rep point and the thread was gone. Why is it acceptable to objectify, exploit females but not males?

Had this thread had some oiled up hiney of a female model there would have been page after page of replies of 'i'd hit it' etc.

These types of exploitive avatars are offensive in any situation on a website that is a business, and yes, this is a business. It takes advertising dollars and membership dollars.

Just thought I would share how I felt about this issue.

Thank you

Sure can't see it from here.
You show 4 posts and they are all acounted for.

However, you may just be barking up the site owner's tree.
Best of luck, see ya round.

Why can't I delete my posts from the test section? They aren't of interest to anyone and just use space. Do they get deleted automically after some certain time?

Bottom line is, just because it is public info doesn't mean it belongs here.

Your name and address are public, as well as how much taxes you paid etc.
So is your driver's liscense #...but I'll assume that just because it is public, you would just as soon it wasn't posted here even if **someone** thought it reflected your character regardless of good or bad.

Would this also include posting an arrest warrant pertaining to and issued for a member of AZ?? That after all would be a public service and could potentially save other members from harm.

Are you a police officer on official business?

Don't play with it.
