Reno Prize Money Cut

I just received a phone call from a dear friend who is an IPT member. He had just gotten a call from the IPT and they are cutting the Reno prize money total from 3 million to 1 million. This friend had $5,000.00 coming and he will now receive $1,666.00 in 3 payments.
His caller ID gave this number for the IPT 847-439-2078. He isn't in a place where he can post this right now and asked me to do it so all of you would know ASAP what is happening.

Are they cutting the prize money or paying in installments?

I would need to know the name of your friend first for credibility reasons. The reason I say this is because a couple of the players played a very cruel joke on another IPT memeber this afternoon. They called him and said that they had gotten calls and were told they were getting paid. After that player made phone calls to people who also made phone calls to people, (industry wide) the original "paid" players fessed up to the joke.

Not funny at a time like this when people have lawyers working on this very thing. These people are not owed money & they're getting nothing in return for it. They're simply going WAY OUT OF THEIR WAY to help the players get paid and a joke like this was not appreciated by them. :mad:

I ran a check on the number. It is unpublished, so the info on it is blocked, but the operator told me that 439 prefix is from Elk Grove Village Illinois.

It would appear BOTH.

Although it hasn't been confirmed it wouldn't surprise me if it's 100% true:mad:

No doubt more will surface tonight.
 
Beckyzilla is attached to one of the players, so I know she is legit. Furthermore, the player that she is attached to would not be one of those getting pranked. They would have no knowledge of his number.

The number given is the main number to the IPT. I called it and they still have a former employee's number there for sales that is no longer there. :(

We have not received calls yet though.

I just don't like the timing of this coinciding with the joke played this afternoon....

I'm not doubting that she's connected to one of the players, I'm doubting the player. I know which players were involved with the joke. If I knew what player she was talking about, I would know if they're part of the group that played the joke today. ;)

Most players have that number and it would be easy to give it to make the joke look legit.
 
The AZ Think Tank strikes again. For free we come up with the concepts and Trudeau implements them. Well, perhaps he'll wise up and start implementing the ones with more merit than this one.

I just confirmed with two different IPT players.... they're saying that they're going to get a 3rd of what they're owed and it will be paid in 3 installments.

Paying a third of his debt to the players in three installments he buys X time for an immediate cash outlay of apprx 12% of what he owes.

Will it fly??

Ok so this seems to be true, What reason was given to them, I can not reach anyone right now to confirm with them. They have to have given a reason........maybe I should just visit them while in chicago.........:eek:

Enough is enough..........what is the reason and have the attourneys said this is acceptable..............:cool:
