I was taught that a person's reputation, even though it may be all that he or she may own, is priceless.
My Mother would always make sure that I was wearing clean underwear whenever I left the house. She said it was in case I was ever mangled beyond recognition in a blood filled, gut shreading, limb from limb tearing, burned all to hell, high speed over a cliff car wreck, and had to go to the Emergency Room.
She said she didn't want her reputation as a mother impuned. What a great lady.![]()
Yeah, I never understood the clean underwear thing. I mean c'mon, if there is some life and death situation presented to you, enough of one that warrant's you going to the emergency room, it's pretty much set in stone that you're going to sh!t your pants.:grin:
