REPUTATION vs. iTRADE

Wow. I have a clique? Sweet. I just thought I had made some friends here. Maybe you should try it some time. It is fun.

As for the same names in the threads....uhh yeah. When people who know each other talk on a message board they generally post in each others threads. I have played pool with, drank with, laughed with, gambled with, shared hotel rooms with, and even went into business with people from this forum. If that makes me a bad guy in your eyes I don't know what to tell you.

You keep that angry loner against all the cool kids thing going. It is working for you. I bet you got a black trench coat in your closet. Come on admit it....you cool guy you.

You dont have a clique tough guy you are IN a Clique. big difference, Need me to explain.

I have friends here also but they are lo key, you and friends should try it

I guess i am coming off different that i intended i just get tired of ( this a perfect example) a person or persons who market products here and want people to by shit and want people to take lessons from them and all kinds of stuff, and then they always right some derogatory remark or call someone ignorant because they have not ,,, shared a room, drank beer, played hide the weenie, laughed with, gambled with, made out with , spooned in the same room with,,, that newbie or other poster.

Are you starting to get it now. You can call me all the names you want and make pictures because thats cool and mature or you can listen to what i am saying.

There are Many and by many more than you know ,, that will not buy your product because you and your buddies come across arrogant, and abrasive to outsiders. I think it is a good product but being in business myself it will not last by waiting for handouts from your buddies.

Thats my opinion in which i am entitled i think

It was funny, doesn;t upset me. I dislike all people who take advantage of other people, and my post had references to others as well not just him.

But this is exactly the type of posts i mean. You cannot say one thing about a "clique" member and already 2 of the 5 people i suspected would post in this thread and that should upset YOU. Let the flaming continue.

Hey maybe if you get closer up thier ass FB might drop a $20 or TAR might drop a DVD and you could pick it up and say

" here ya go spike, here spike, here ya go spike here"
I will find the cartoon for you but i know you know what i am talking about.

I can play that way also:p

Well, I dont have efrens phone number. So I wont be calling him up. So, care to reveal yourself? or you going to "not care about cliques or what people think" and hide your identity?

Man, first I have a clique, then I find out I am in a clique and now I am a tough guy. This has been a very informational evening.

You are probably right though. Better to just shut up and be all "low key" than to put together stuff like Alex vs Shane and the Derby City stream and talk about it here. Would you like me then? Because it really matters to me.

I am also curious how you happen to know all the people that wont buy our stuff because we are arrogant or abrasive. I have had a few people say they dont like our stuff or its not good enough and that is fine. It doesnt meet their standards and I get that but I have never had someone come up to me at a tournament and say "You are an arrogant and abrasive person so therefore I will not buy your product". The very first thing I learned when I got involved in this stuff is that you can't please everybody. I treat everyone I meet with respect and as nice as I can. Just like on here. If someone is an idiot or out of line I say something in real life. Just like I do here.

I did not post any pictures by the way. If you are gonna insult me at least make an effort to be accurate about your accusations.

I just don't get this comment. I've read lots of JCIN"s posts and have never seen this. Next thing you know, someone will be b*tching because they are using slang.

then ask yourself why things like that need to be said hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

That thread has 129 posts, you are going to have to narrow it down. I read a lot of it and still didn't see an egregious example. I find it ironic that I think a better example of "arrogant and abrasive" are in your posts in this thread.

LOL. Is that your best shot?

As long as we are dragging up threads to show what an ass I am how about a thread about your favorite topic: Fatboy. In particular how you were so mad that he was in the DCC ring game.

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=84288

My favorite little part was this right here:

JCIN said:
I guess we just disagree on this one, I think you are giving the ring game a little too much credit as a media event. From the info I have gathered the number of viewers was not what many would think.

My point about the $100 ring game is...if you can't get guys to buy in for a $100 or $50 a game is it a big surprise when you can't get guys to buy in for $3K? There are just so many other easier games to be had....the spotlight appeal has worn off and many of the players just go do other things. It is kind of sad in a way because The $3K entry is actually pretty cheap when you look at everything you get with it.

As far as Shane, I like him and he is good player but a pretty substantial one on one underdog to most of the players he beat in Olathe. My point is if you stop people from taking chances...you stop the possibility of seeing amazing things. Is it gonna happen everytime...no. It is like alternate break kinda...yeah the matches are closer but you will never see a 10 pack either.

Anyway...I gotta get on the road for Louisville, stop in the action room and say hi if you have a chance, I would like to meet you I am sure we could make our points clearer in person. I was actually born and raised in Cincinnati (Northwest High School...represent!!!) LOL. So we got that in common.

See everyone in the 'Ville....we can all sweat this poor excuse of a ring game together

cincyman said:
I agree points could be made better in person--- I am not trying to be a dick. I represent oak hills class of 98. I will stop in and say hi. My brother in law is the treasurer for northwest schools now and his wife a teacher there.

You are right. I am a complete @sshole who makes no effort to see other peoples point of view.

I have always understood how your general reputation points is essential to your credibilty and popularity here on AZ...

However, I just recently learned of iTrade and can see how important and invaluable that can be as well to how other fellow AZr's perceive you...

So which leads me to this question... Which one is more important to one's credentials or are both considered equally ?

I'm a wee bit confused  with the infrastructure of AZ and what constitutes the "in" and the "out" regarding mainstream members....

As always your feedback is greatly appreciated !

Sincerely, Eddie Wheat

how other fellow AZr's perceive you...
one's credentials

Neither Eddie. What is really important is how we treat one another. Everybody deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. We are all here because we like pool, cues, and the rest of it. It's our thing.
Rep and i-Trade are just tools. Personally, I hope you are chilling a little, drying your shaft wood, building great cues and enjoying your life.
Peace, Purdman :)

In the main menu, there's a category called vbookie events. The largest thread there describes VCASH and how to use it. (It is basically for virtual betting)

Craig, I don't know if you caught it or not, but I started a thread on this same subject a few mos. ago. However it lacked your eloquence, or Justin's common sense. I just went straight for the flamer's jugular!

It's heartwarming to see how many it affected, NOT !!!

P.S Swore off these type threads, but I couldn't resist.

You are, indeed, entitled to your opinion. Maybe your friends should speak up once in a while.
Maybe I'm in the "clique". So are you. It's called my ignore list. For some reason, you piss me off.

rep points i dont find to be that important. in fact u can get them pretty easily without any work involved. there was a situation which i found hilarious in that one user got something like 7 boxes of rep for absolutely nothing (i dont wanna discuss it on open forum but pm me if u wanna know about it). itrade is much more useful, especially if u're buying and selling.

Hey...

Sorry, since I didn't know I was in the clique, I don't know who they are and I don't really care. Just the tone of the whole clique thing I find very annoying. Some people just can't stand not being noticed or whatever. Sounds like sour grapes to me.
