Rhea the new Chapter, without Gene

I would like to compete at Bogies in Houston next weekend and then go to Derby for a few days before going to Rusty's in Arlington the following weekend. Wish I knew someone from Oklahoma City going that way.

How have you been traveling around since you and Gene split?

And congrats on your win! Keep it up!

If you ever get to the Joplin, MO area, I have a life-long friend there who would probably be happy to play you. Jarrid Easton. He was the 2011 Missouri State Amateur 9-ball champion. We go way back to childhood, and is the guy that really got me interested in pool on a more serious level. He's a good player and beyond that, one of my best friends. We've never been out of touch in the last 20 years.

No, I only travel commercially or with other pool players otherwise I just stay where I am at if I can't afford it

I really need to learn how to break and make a ball in ten ball. I was lucky enough to get drawn for a $750.00 pot and I broke dry on a diamond bar box.

Once you get to the DCC you may not want to leave!

Leaving Oklahoma Friday Morning and headed to Bogies in Houston, TX.

You're headed the wrong direction if you want to be at the Derby at all. The Derby has to be at least 17 hours driving from Houston by car and that would be pushing it.

Been there before, loved the atmosphere, I know I won't want to leave but it is imperative that I am at Rustys in Arlington by the morning of Feb 1st since I am being sponsored in that one.

If I win at Bogies we will leave Monday morning so I will be there all day on Wednesday before going to Arlington. Sounds like I will only be in Derby for one whole day if I go at all. But the reason I wanted to go was to give Mark from Brickyard a shot at some cash in a rematch.

Greyhound and splitting car rides why?

If you get to TX, you are in a state to get the best deal on a car or truck than anywhere in the country. I have bought all my trucks there for the last 15 years. For 1,500 to 2,000, you can get a dependable car off craigs list. I can get a truck there for 8,000, that would cost me 13,000 here in Al. I wanted to add, I was buying from a dealer, so, you can get a even better deal from a local off craigslist.
