I’d like to give a shoutout to AZ’s own,Adam Orr, aka ribdoner. I had the pleasure of lunch and an incredibly kind gesture from Adam this week. His knowledge of pool and pool’s history and players is incredible. Adam is a treasure to the pool community. The world at large needs more Adams. It’d be a better place.

I’ve been a big Adam fan for as long as I been on AZB. He’s a wonderful part of the pool community and I’m proud to call him a friend.

Adam and I have been trading cues since I bought my first Cognoscenti from him in the 1990s. I treasure my friendship and conversations with him over the years.

I feel the same about him,maybe even more so. Not only because I've known him 30+ years,but he also got me started doing repairs in 1998,selling me the in-house lathe that became obsolete when the late Alex Brick moved his lathe into the back room at his room Player's.
