This guy says he is a professional player getting divorced. Looks like a nice very early black. Also has a nice Joss under his other items.

This cue is just listed and I asked the seller whether the cue is signed or otherwise identified as R. Black cue and the reply I got was "answered previously"

The guy states right on the listing that it is signed.

I tried to re-read the listing and now it's gone??? It's not listed under seller's id either.

You're right, it's gone.

The link changed because the guy changed his "header" title.

Here is one that works

I originally saw three cues for sale by "nohobo" who is supposed to be the professional and is going through a divorce.
The link you now provided is to someone else.

In the meantime, I had watches set up on all three cues but only the Joss is left...
Joss Cue

The auctions say that he also has the cues for sale locally/elsewhere, and will pull the auctions if he sells it. Maybe he sold them. Is that even a permitted eBay practice, to start an auction while stating that you might pull the auction if you sell it elsewhere?

Yeah it seem to be.Just about everyone selling high end cues has this disclaimer.
I dont know why e-bay lets them get away with this.

He also had an ebony titlist conversion up for sale that he thought was a Paradise (99% sure it wasn't).

He's in the Washingon D.C. area - anybody know who this "pro" is?

I wonder for how long?

That sucks when people do that. I know there is a penalty, but probably not enough to make a difference.

I've seen cases where peopel will END the auction ... so the link will still be there. Just the item is no longer available for sell.

I've never sold on eBay so I don't know if the seller can make the listing just disappear ... only time I've seen listings disappear is when eBay "pulls" the listing due to scam  Of course, I have no ideal if this is the case for this particular listing.

It was posted last night.
There were 3 cues in all: Black, Paradise and the Joss.
I put a watch on all 3 cues to come back later.

The guy stated in his auctions that he reserved the right to end the auctions early if they were not bringing the money he thought they were worth...so in other words someone offered him top dollar offline and he pulled them or he was aggrivated they were not bringing good money and he pulled them.

That's about all I can offer at this point in time...

I think that is probably what happened.

If he really is getting divorced, I bet he's converting physical property to money as quick as he can. It's a lot easier to hide money.

When someone pulls an auction, you can still see the page, the bid count goes back to "0", and the item lists something to the effect that the item is no longer available.
That is what happened to me when I was after a couple of Hercek cues that AZB'rs had posted and pulled.

Later!
