THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITE "ARTISTIC" CUES. THE STAGGERED RINGS IN THIS CUE ARE AWESOME.

I really should keep a towel by the computer.....

Between the women and the cues...I drool every time I open your threads.

Beautiful cue!

Not many cue's like this one.

I'd like to hear the story about this cue.

Congrats...

I'd be proud to have any of Richard's Theme Cues..

Those off set trim rings really capture the SW look (Not SW cues, the woven Indian design/look/style..)

AS FAR AS THE DESIGN GOES, I BELIEVE RICHARD WAS INSPIRED BY AN INDIAN RUG OR SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES. HE HAD TOLD ME YEARS AGO, BUT I'M NOT 100% SURE ANYMORE.

I'M DISAPPOINTED IN MY PICTURES, THEY REALLY DON'T SHOW HOW WELL THIS CUE "FLOWS" OR HOW COOL THE RINGS ARE.

Thanks Marcus, (And Paul DG.... )
Kept the cap simple, not to distract from Richard's work...
Glad you liked it..

Not really a fan of the forearm above the ring, but love the buttsleeve and ringwork. Nice and different. I like that about it.

Paul,

Great cue! I am partial to the southwestern flavor!

Thanks Will!! This is one of my favorite Southwestern cue designs, especially the staggered rings design with the various colors of the woods Richard used. Also, Richard's craftsmanship/execution is excellent!! We do not see enough cues with a "Southwestern flavor". That inspired me to have Richard make this cue for me. Alton did a great job on the CueCaps!! Best wishes & God Bless, Paul.

This is certainly unique, and worth owning already for this reason alone. Love the butt sleeve, as yet undecided about the overall appearance. But it's better to have something that grows on one than get bored with it in no time… :duck:

Greetings from Switzerland, David.

Marcus,

Here is an earlier version of the 'Santa Fe' from 1994.

The ring work in yours adds a lot to the cue.
