When walking up to your shot, do you utilize just one side of your body for the aiming?
Or do you use both sides?
I use my r/s for aiming and l/s for my shot feel.

I look at the shot line,
im shoot right-handed,
So I place my right foot on the shot line and my body falls in line.
You can watch Lee Brett instruction on youtube on His 5 basic fundamentals for shooting pool,
great teaching IMO

Does anybody have a favorite side?? Do you make more balls on the right side when facing the table, or left?? Ever considered that??
I seem to have a slightly higher % when shooting from the right side to a left hand pocket vs vice versa.
I wonder if dominant hand or eye applies to this??

No, I deliberately refuse to even entertain the idea.

I used to play a guy every week -- sparring. Every time I missed the two ball, he would say, "Two ball Bob!" For a while, it worked.

Also, remember to check exactly how much grip you are using on the shot, and how your grip fingers are opening and closing on the stroke.

I have actually been focusing a lot on my grip (in practice) lately. But try to let it go when in an actual match or tournament.

I aim with my eyes, body/feet follows along automatically. Until now i'd never given any though to this. Just a automatic natural action.
Your kick out foot.... left for r/h players is Such an integral part of Every shot.
My peers yrs ago named me Big Foot because I'd flop Down that 14AAA and it Stuck Out.

Do you blink just before you pull the trigger on a pressure shot? Think about it next time. LOL

I lock in on the OB with Both Eyes, with the Cue 'Centered' between my eyes and Aim with the 'Shaft/Cue-Tip' at the contact point on the OB!
