Genius - yes I said that I don't hang out with all the people in the FS section. I hear they get real upset when their one of a kind cue that hits like a southwest doesn't sell. Sounds like lots of fun. I think the one item I put in their, a felini case, I was told was painted by one of your expert friends. Uhhh, he was wrong and it sold for $1400.

I just wanted it to be clear that I wasn't saying point blank that the Ebay seller was good or bad. And was hoping for more proof to shed light on the subject.

But my point, in case you missed it, is that the guy on Ebay looks perfectly fine to me. Over 1500 positive feedback - 2 negatives - that is a lot of effort put forth if he is a scam artist, and a lot of ebay fees listing & selling items, some of them high dollar. That doesn't make sense. Even someone like you should be able to realize that.

ChrisOnline - just for info purposes, how do you know the Ebay seller & the AZ scam artist seller are the same person?
 
I am not a online buyer or seller, so excuse the ignorance of this question.

Why wouldn't a online escrow service be beneficial (to both parties)?

I would be just as concerned about selling (shipping) a 4k item prior to payment as I would about sending a 4k payment prior to shipment.

Seems like it would be real easy to put money in an online escrow service and funds verified...but not to be released before product reciept confirmed via carrier tracking.

The telephone number of Mr Lazar Rud of Apt E3, 4266 Phlox Place NY 11355-2141 is 718 321-2712.

Amazing what info can sometimes be had from gossipy neighbours if anyone was inclined to telephone that number and ask Lazar Rud about J Holmes who lives next door in Apt E2 of the same building;) :)

Interestingly and a little confusingly the telephone number listed for J Holmes (718 358-6855) is also in some places the exact same listed number for a "J Herbert" at a completely different address in Floral Park NY 11001.
 
Well dang.

This morning, my 82-yr-old dad collapsed at his assisted living home, and they called an ambulance and had him taken to the hospital. Called me next.

I get to the emergency room, open up the door to where my dad is, and there's a nurse cleaning him up - my poor dad completely crapped himself at some point. And BOY did that smell BAD!

And now here's THIS thread - and I realize - if only I'd known, I could have SAVED that foul, foul substance that came out of my dad this morning, and sent it to this joker's PO Box!

(FYI, Dad's doing fine.)

He's a scammer. You can bet on that since I know you are a bad-ass gambler.:rolleyes:

A quick google search tells me that I was not the first to come up with this idea...It appears as if there is even at least one escrow service affiliated with PayPal.....

I am just curious why escrow is not used as a way of protection...

The reason why is people don't protect themselves is because people would rather just pull out at the last minute. imo.

they have a serious messed up posting style.. usually posts stupid pics that have nothing to do with current topic..

i dont know if anybody remembers.. but when they first started as Bark Cinnamon they used a photo of a women in all their posts..

his wife maybe? or maybe they both post under the alias.. cause its not the first time i saw them talk about their daughter...
