It also could be that he never intended to defraud you, but just got caught up in a legal mess from a past problem before he could ship it off to you. I would hate to see anyone get additional charges if the intent were not there. His main charge was a failure to comply. That could be anything from not paying court ordered child support to not submitting to a court ordered UA.lenoxmjs said:

Instead he got arrested before he could send it to you..
Then you stick him with something that may do a lot of bad to him on top of his other charges..
Why don't you try and get a hold of a family member of his.. Wife, Children, Etc. and see if they can send you the rug before you bring a charge upon him?
Or am I wrong about all of this?

I know when I receive a paypal payment I transfer it out right away.
He could of done the same and got arrested the next day or two?
I'm not defending him.. Just saying it's a possibility?
I'm going to try and find out today exactly what he is charged with. I'm guessing it must be somthing reasonably serious since they won't allow him to post bond. This usually means he is considered a dangerous person or a flight risk. I'll try to keep everyone updated
He could have also violated a probation or parole sentence too,i would try to get in touch with someone at his last address and get the rug if possible.lenoxmjs said:
Called the cell phone . It rang then went to voice mail so I think that means the phone is actually on and someone has it. If it went to directly to voice mail it would be out of range or shut off. Left a message on he phone about the situation. Hopefully if a family member or someone has the phone they will contact me on his behalf. I'm going to give it the weekend before I escalate this to a police matter.
Just as an aside, his "failure to comply" could be a failure to comply with the order of a police officer as well. Since there are some traffic charges (looks like from the same incident, but not sure), my guess (and it is only that), is that he was getting pulled over, and ran, resulting in a traffic charge and failure to comply (for not stopping when ordered to).

WOW!! I use PayPal for my Business....and I pride myself on my quick shipping of orders and quaility of my products. I never advertise my product as something it's NOT!! I hope no one thinks that because I only take PayPal that I'm Not to be trusted??!?? I'm sorry you feel that way about PayPal....But please be careful not to make people think that PayPal customers (Business Owners)like myself are dishonest, OK? I do back up my sales with a Credit Card. I also e-mail customers with ship date. If for some reason I mis-understood what you were saying...well...I apologize. Its not paypal thats useless or bad...ITS THE PEOPLE WE CHOSE TO DO BUSINESS WITH THAT ARE BAD! I have used paypal for over 9 years now and I cant think of any other way that we all could do business with out it. There is no sure fool proof method in this world anymore because thats what its come to. The thievies will always find a way to scam you and paypal does millions of transactions a day,think about how hard it is to figure out WTF is a scam and whats not. Its been told millions of times to not use your bank account to pay ANYONE,yet it still happens and a credit card is the only way to have some protection.

I finally spoke to his mom. She has agreed to send me the rug. Now we'll wait and see if it shows up.
Just as an aside I had begun the process of filing charges and am going to hold up to see if the rug shows up in the next 5-7 days. If not I'm definately going to pursue criminal charges .
Come to find out his criminal history is quite extensive according to the local cheif of police. I tried to find out exactly what the current charges and past history was but he couldn't say.
The cheifs advice was that if his mom is willing to send the rug that would be the best route because it didn't look like this guy was going to be seeing the light of day for a very long time.

no one was ripped off by me. I was arrested and held with no charges and on evidence for 49 days now. If you did not complete a sale it was becuese I COULD NOT DO SO, I am VERY sorry for this and will do what ever I can do to FIX WHAT EVER PROBLEM I HAVE CAUSED.

as far as not being able to pay pay the money back was becuase before I stuck my pay check in the cops arrested me. ALL my bills got pulled out automaticaly. Except for ONE pool cue the got shipped back no me and is being EXCHANGED witch happened WHILE i was arrested EVERYONE IS COMPLETELY HAPPY. So who ever made the stole comment so say sorry BIG TIME. All cues are legal, don't belive me call McD and ask them { I can get the paper work to back up my claim all cues where legally bought}. Easy to spout off at the mouth when you have no idea what going on, easy to lay blame. . I am by far the most honest business man with THE bast prices YOU'LL EVER FIND. Can you find a happier group that got a better deal? I do not think so.
BTW I had my best friend drive over 100 miles to pick the bear skin rug up to mail it out to the guy. My friend has it but I guess me MOTHER wrote the adress down wrong,{shes old} She had been trying to call the guy back but couldn't make out the name on the message, the number went to a receptionist. I am having the rug DRIVEN BACK TO ME so I can personaly mail it out.
