Oh Damn that price reduction makes me want to come on over and try it out. I do like Ten Ball!

Yeah, I was getting that from a lot of people, especially with traveling expenses and everything. We want to bring in as many 'out of town' players as possible.

Also, if you look back a few posts, I have posted all the close hotels and got one of them to offer rooms to for as low as $30/night if you mention being there for the 'River City Classic'.

10 Ball is by FAR the best game!!! :grin-square:

please be sure and get extra red circles. last year they were stolen or you didn't have enough. why the change in format??

River City Billiard Tour

There will be plenty of Red Circle Cue Balls and this is not a change in format, it is actually a completely different event. This is the RCC (River City Classic), which is 10 ball and you are talking about the RCO (River City Open), which is a mixed 8/9 ball format.

These 2 events and 2 others are part of a year round tour called the RCBT (River City Billiard Tour), hence the website (www.RiverCityBilliardTour.com).

The tour itself is actually new and the website as well, it should be up next week for everyone to view the players already signed up and everything else. I hope this clears up any confusion.

The RCBT will have 4 events per year like clockwork running every 3 months. The 4 events will include 10, 9, 8 and 7 ball in various formats. The 4th and final event will be an Invitational with the top 32 players from the previous 3 events invited. Again, you can view all of this info on the website, which should be ready in about a week.

Thank you very much! :grin-square:

Lol, yeah you know how it is. Are you planning on going to Quincy this weekend or St. Peters the following for any other those tourneys?

Yeah, spots are filling up fast, but we have decided to open up the tournament beyond the full field of 64 players to allow everyone else wanting to play the chance to do so.

We also wanted to bump up the Added $$$ beyond $2,000

Food and Drinks!!!

Yes...

Dave's Billiards does have a kitchen and serve food. (Pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, etc.)

There is also seating around the edge of the room and in the middle, so plenty of seating for players and spectators.

If you're only coming to watch, then we'd love to have ya, but it would be better if we could 'watch' you play. :)

Contrary to popular opinion.

I will speak to him Saturday when I see him

2010 RCC - Player Registration

First of all, Jesse Bowman will NOT be at this event as he has already informed me of having plans he is unable to change.

Actually, you probably want to know that most of the locals haven't yet signed up and I have spoken with MANY travelling players whom are attending, but have not yet signed up online.

IMPORTANT: THIS TOURNAMENT IS NOT CLOSING @ 64 PLAYERS AND IS OPEN TO 128, HENCE WHY SOME AREN'T WORRYING ABOUT SIGNING UP TO RESERVE THEIR SPOT.

Here is the page to both sign-up for the event and also to view those whom have already signed up...

2010 RCC Registration - http://www.rivercitybilliardtour.com/register.html

These players below have already signed up early. The list below does not accurately reflect the amount of players that will be in the event as many do not pre-register and only show up on the day of the event. So, if you're looking for a larger number of players below before signing up, then don't worry, cause the real count is likely 2x the # of players below...
