I don't think "disdain" or "loathe" is strong enough for what's been going on this forum in recent times as they pertain to Rodney Morris. "Hate" seems to fit the bill. Half the members who are voicing their dislike for him don't even know the whole story of what happened, but they are piling on threads adding their 2 cents as if what is written on this forum is gospel.
Meanwhile, let's put the spotlight on a few of those members of Team Europe, some of this forum's pool purists' golden boys, and see what unfolds when the truth is written.
Oh, and it's coming soon. Stay tuned.
Jam, you know I love ya, but... you sure seem to be an "extremist". You seem to put everyone at one end or the other, no middle ground. If anyone says one word against an American pro, they are in the "hater" camp.
Being a pro, he is automatically in the spotlight, and people are going to talk. That's just the way it is, no changing that. Personally, what he does in his private life, is his business. He wants to put out the image of himself that he is, that's on him. However, when he represents this country, then it is my business, and everyone else that is a citizen of this country. It is because then he is representing US.
Beleive me, if people were trying to "hate" on him, there is a ton more that could be said. (that's true with all of us), but, it isn't be said, is it?? The fact that it isn't, shows you that people aren't hating on him, they are discussing something that Rodney did that the public doesn't approve of.
If you want to defend someone so bad, maybe you should be defending MG. One of the best things pool has going for it right now. Not the person trying to hurt him.
