Ron V from NYC

I have a few things i want to say about Ron Vetela (sp) from NYC.

First, you can't go wrong taking some lessons with him. His kicking, banking, and aiming are all worth a look.

Second, he is one of the nicest people i've ever met. Every time a pro player walked by they said hi to Ron and every time he'd go, "Corey, let me introduce you to my friend Craig." And i met them all!

Third, take the pool out of the equation and Ron is someone you would want to be friends with. In my one weekend with him i consider him a friend and had a feeling he'd give me the shirt of his back if i asked.

Fourth, Ron is also one of the most interesting people you will ever meet. His stories about his life are worth the listen. Ron has been in pool, music, restaurant, roofing, etc. A little bit of everything.

Anyway, if you have the time to take a lesson from him do it. If you don't have the time for a lesson but have 10 minutes to say hello, do it too. Either way you will not be disappointed.

Ron pretty much changed the way I look at a table. I agree with the original poster. His kicking, banking and aiming systems are all pretty much "need to know" stuff.

Ron, as soon as I'm done traveling with work I'm going to visit you again in NYC.

No way. That sucks about you mom. You had so many great things to say about her when i was back there. I hope she gets better soon.

Ron i know you are a great guy and you helped Capow for practically nothing but maybe you dont know that posting in all caps is poor BB form. Thanks for all the help you have given pool.
 
Where would one go to see his systems without actually calling him?

Book, online, videos?

I've never heard of him but would be interested in seeing his stuff.
