There is a dvd called "The $20,000 World One Pocket Challenge Match", takes place circa 89?? ( give or take). It is sold by Jay Hefert on his website. Jay produced the event. Ronnie Allen vs Danny DeLiberto, $20,000 total.
Although both post peak, it is a very good match and shows great shots, moves, and strategy as the book title goes. In particular, Ronnie was so offensive...always has balls moving towards his pocket. Danny, " working the pile". I have probably watched it a half dozen times or moe, but last week laid up from surgery I got a chuckle watching it again. I read the debate here in the one pocket teacher thread and comments on Danny. In the first game it is 7-6 Danny, but Ronnie has the last two up table towards his side bunched towards the corner. Danny goes 4 rails and closes out the game reaching for thr rack when the ball comes off the third rail.
While not 9 ball as Richie asked, I do not think there are many good videos showing Ronnie's speed. You can ony imagine when he was young. The thread is about Ronnie, but Danny is most impressive
enjoy,
