Ronnie Wiseman stiff's me for $3900

I've read every word of every post in this thread. My reading comprehension is at the very least, well above average. According to Shawn's most recent post (albeit, not for some time), over 66% of the debt remains unpaid.

This is in addition to ronnies original scumbag airbarrel move. Then his public statement through JAM that he owes nothing. Followed by strong arming shawn into an obvious extorted retraction.....

So, according to my math calculations, Ronnie = scumbag.

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but threads like this one and the Morris-Mills thread make AZ the wonderful place it is!

And Marissa, I will amend my previous statement, he is a very polite dirtbag! Better?

Ronnie is a very personable and funny guy the times I've been around him. We bet on several of the matches at every tourney that we've both been at and he even went out with us one time in Athens. That being said, I wouldn't trust him with a $10 gift card from Outback.

well now

Well now marissa, who needs comprehension skills? I just hate to think that all the gambling at pool i've done, past and present i'd be way ahead if i only paid 1/4 when i lost, but nooooo good old honest me had to pay every penny. Damm some people are just lucky (or insert your own word here) i guess.

diggin up old bones $$$$$$$$$$$$

IBA, did this ever get settled, kind of wondering about someone I attained great respect for while living in Detroit for 10 years.???

I still have great respect for Ronnie Wiseman.

But now my perception is skewed a bit.

I will check, but at last update he had paid back little to none. There was another thread about a huge scam by Wiseman, but it was deleted. Call me sometime if you want to know.

don'y remember how i ended up on this thread, but JAM, did this ever get resolved...

you know me in some ways. i think you know me

i just want to know if this was "fixed" by your friend

all the best and say "hey" to your poolplayer,

I don't think posting the cash is a solution, especialy in this case since the OP mentioned that RW made it known he was playing light.Posting is a bad idea for many reason IMO,reasons I won't go into here.Putting cash up on the light is just a bad idea.

When gambling on pool there has to be a certain amount trust and accountabilty that must be in place. These things will happen and they just have to be dealt with.

Curious to know if this has been resolved.

How do you figure? Posting in the solution! How is posting a bad idea? Gamble much?

Every day.I keep my money in my pocket. There are many reasons why posting is a bad idea but I will give you one.

You are playing a guy for 500 and he airbarrels you,you still have your 500.You are playing a guy for 500 and you both foolishly put your money on the light? He reaches up and takes the 1k and walks out,now you are out your 500.

Ronnie Wiseman won $6,000.00 minimum at the Breaker's tourament in Mobile August 2-3.

Betting that kind of money ($700 a game) all of the money should be posted. It doesn't matter if it's Williebetmore; if it's more than a hundred a game, the cash must be posted and each set or game must be paid before another game or set is played.

I think that letting any player hang themselves more than a hundred bucks and you are asking for it. There is very little honor in the gambling world and even the posted money must be watched or it too can disappear.:o :(

Thanks for the heads-up Shawn. You did all of us a service.
JoeyA

And WE want to ELEVATE the game to a respectable level. Good luck to US. Golf.. you call fouls on yourself & 'lose' HUNREDS of THOUSANDS of DOLLARS or MORE... HONOR ! ! !

For those with no reading comprehension, yes the debt was paid. The OP stated it more than a couple times, I believe in this thread, and a separate thread of its own.

If you guys are so curious and just had to know, I don't know why you didn't just read it for yourself instead of bumping old news.

And Ronnie Wiseman has never been a dirtbag that I've seen. He's always been extremely polite.
