rosewood cue ready for finish

Because of the great figure in the handle, it would just be a flat out travesty to wrap this cue! Remember, some people pay extra to have just this kinda figure in their rosewood.

The blank was already pretty special...but this is is very very special...PLEASE do not cut a wrap groove into that gorgeous piece of wood...I can practically hear it shrieking from the prospect!

fyi. I played with this cue last night. It's the best playing cue i've ever made

wrapless it is...

DOES THIS CUE HAVE AN OWNER? DID HE WANT A WRAP?

THE CUE SURE IS PRETTY..... SO IF IT DOESN'T HAVE AN OWNER LET ME KNOW.

The cue doe have an owner for now. He keeps changing things bc he is having cash flow problems. I quoted him 1250 for the cue and he has given me half. This is why deposites are required. I want him monitarliy obligated to the cue. I understand problems so what I offer is to sell the cue and minus the difference if any from the deposite

So when you acquired this beautiful piece of rosewood you said to yourself, 'that needs a wrap'. Aye carumba.

Dave hope all is well, that is a great looking cue....Now some pics of the shop please :D:D:D:D...........Ray

Dave,

I love ya man, but if you wrap this cue i'll sent someone over to punch you in the balls.

Love the cue!

I would not wrap the cue unless you want to play with it. I may be mistaken but I believe I was the first person to have titleist cues made wrapless.
I had Paul Mottey make me an ebony one and I have loved them since.

The best reason to wrap is the sticky sweat problem when you grip the handle,I used to sand the finish off of house cues so my hand would not get sticky

I always wonder why make a full splice if you are going to destroy the looks with a wrap.

At any rate you have a very nice cue,let someone buy it and pick their own wrap or not

Love that design, very "Szamboti" feeling.

And although it IS gorgeous, I'd have to wrap it.

I got to go with wrapless as well. You did a great job on this cue Dave, it looks excellent. I love the wider rings, where might someone find these rings? Please PM. Anywho, gorgeous cue!!!!!!!

It's a prather blank. I wish I could make fs blanks. Maybe one day. I've been thinking about trying it.

Finding .050 rings is tough. Prather got some a few months ago and I bought them out. I didn't tell anyone. They are impossible to find. I had to buy like 200 rings. They are like gold and no I won't part with any. I upcharge 50$ for .050 rings.
