Where does Pau Ferro fit in? Tommy D.
I have some BRW that sinks like a rock in water. It's not as light as you may think it is.

The wood that you have that sinks may not be what you think it is.

Speaking of the BRW.
Oops, need resizing.

Your picture stinks.
What's all that white stuff?
That's more than you'll ever use in your life.Agreed.
Ferrule rods.

I'm with KJ on this one, the specific gravity of it is .84 when it's at 12%, .68 when dry.
In order for any wood to sink, the number must be above 1. If yours sinks fast, KJ is 100% correct.
JC, I hope the bunger is OK after this one, I enjoy reading your posts, Thanks, Dave.
Are you 100% it's 100% BRW? BRW not the heaviest but certainly not one of the lightest either.
This isn't the first time you've tried to 'punk' the members of this forum.
From a psychological perspective I believe you indulge in the practice to both
mask your lack of knowledge and at the same time, to draw attention to yourself.
It's quite naive to think that it's humorous; it's not. You may think so but you'd be wrong.
Some CMs go to great lengths to insure that their contributions are accurate and helpful.
What have you really contributed here ? More sarcasm and nothing else.
The last time you tried this with me you gave me 'green' in an attempt to apologize.
Take your 'green' and stick it back in the drawer where the sun don't shine.
Your credibility with me is zero.
Is this directed at me?
JC
Of course it is, and BTW - perhaps you should look into the definition of sarcastic.
