Roy in Indiana is have a SALE.

I would rather contract gonorrea than buy something from him!! But thanks for the link!!!!!!!!!!!

Why the negative feelings about this guy? I was browsing through the cues and I am contemplating buying one. Is he bad business?

In my opinion and many others on here; as you could read, but the thread disappeared so no more evidence.

I have known many who had major problems, and myself included, has had major problems with this guy. Rude emails and nasty comments that were uncalled for is just the tip of the iceberg... so if that's your bag please give Roy a call and he will make your day. Please tell him you are a collector and know a lot about cues and that will start the convo off excellent.

Roy is like most people, except mushroom, not everyone love him. He has some great stuff in his inventory.

Roy in Indiana is having a SALE.

I purchased a Southwest cue from Roy a few years ago (Serial# 339 06). I was looking for an Ebony SW with a leather wrap with points and no veneers and this one was available. I thought the price was a little high but I didn't feel like waiting (at the time) 9 years for one...the cue is beautiful.

Nice guy...bank transfer the funds and fast ship on his end...no problems. I even visited his shop while in Indiana a couple of years ago and he had a nice little collection of cues on his wall.

I know there are some folks that harbor some ill feelings towards him (for whatever reason) but I found him to be agreeable and professional.

Love the hat and even though I grew up a few thousand miles form the border still sometimes catch myself speaking redneck/spanglish to my family. Work necessitated me to learn some spanish<i mean mexican> I is a landscaper.

No he's not. Roy does what he says he will. Be polite to him and he will be polite back.

Roy supports cue makers and cue case makers like no other dealer does that I can see.

When he decides to carry a line of cues or cases then he makes sure to stock as deep as he can.

All of his cues new and are in pristine condition.

Roy takes great pride in the business he has built up and he doesn't tolerate people who blow smoke or waste his time kicking tires.

When you get to know him then you will find a guy with a heart of gold.

You will find people like lawman888 who have NEVER purchased anything from Roy who don't like the way Roy talked to them but you will hardly find anyone who had a bad deal with Roy.

On the other hand you will find many top collectors who buy from Roy regularly.

If you want to buy a cue then call him and talk to him. He will be happy to talk cues with you. If you don't like what you hear then don't buy. But don't let the opinion of someone like lawman888 stop you because this person isn't even a customer of IndyQShop, just someone who wanted to kick the tires and was upset when Roy didn't play along.

I have bought a few things from Roy and never had any problems. Have talked over the phone with him many times and he has always been polite and honest. Talked about other products that he didn't sell and always got a fair answer.

The best thing is talk to him yourself and make your own opinion.

Roy was the victim of an attack/robbery several years ago in his shop, he was almost killed, Roy I understand is still recovering, and trying to survive this recession like the rest of us.

You got all that from clicking the link?

I am sure Roy wasn't too enthused about your communication skills either judging by how the sentence above is written.

If you think Roy Malott has poor business habits then you know NOTHING about business.

He does what he says he will, he does it on time, he pays his bills in minutes not months and years.

In my 20 years in this business Roy is one of the few people I have met who doesn't give you a song and dance. He stocks deep and backs up what he sells. He goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy.

I think Roy's OK

I did a deal with Roy and he came across as a gentleman and someone who enjoyed doing his thing. Please don't hesitate to buy from him, maybe he just doesn't suffer fools lightly.
