To have a shot at Shane, go with tight pockets and old cloth. Shane won't play Dennis on table #1 or #6 at HardTimes. Believe he said he won't gamble there himself.
I'd take Dennis at HardTimes 9b over Shane even with Shane slaughtering him over 30+ racks in 10b.

I'm pretty sure I've heard Shane say the same things.
When you have a big break, tight pockets takes the advantage away. Although, Shane is about as accurate a shot maker as anyone, there are a few young guns that he just can't match shot for shot.
Then again, those shot making machines can't break with SVB either.
I'm with you on DO having an edge on really tight equipment but, I doubt he would beat SVB by 30+ games, no matter how tight the equipment was.
In the end, I doubt we will see such a match.
I would like to see them rematch on a 10 footer at 9 ball with 9 on the spot.
