Run This (21)

I'm comfortable with this one. I could also see a break with the 5 ball. Forgive some of my cue ball lines, I was in a hurry. You get the general idea though.

yeah, the cue ball will drift to the left there......

I like 4 - 6- 3- 7 - 1 - 8 pretty much all stop shots

Yeah, see, I didn't even look at it like that. My pattern works but yours is safer with less CB movement. Rep points for this one.....and I hardly ever give out rep points.

Why thanks Mully, :) I find the easy ones cause necessity is the mother of invention. :)

I suppose its the patterns that allow me (despite old age brain cramping) to achieve those huge 40s (tongue in cheek) I put down before I dose off during my inning and have to be shaken awake by my opponent as I slump over my last shot. :)

What about 4-1-8-5-7-3 or 4-1-8-5-3-7 and use 6 as a behind-the-rack break ball?

The hardest shot here would be shooting the 1 ball using center ball. After that the 2 groups of 2 balls ( 8-5 and 7-3 ) can be used to get a perfect angle on the 6 ball.

Hi. There's a thing called Cue Table, though some of us still call it the Wei Table. It's pretty cool. You should give it a try sometime!

Lol. I was thinking the same thing. Come on Wei!!

I actually had the same idea as you Wei on my first layout of 3. I was thinking that it would be good to get the 4 out first so as to stay low at the end. Since you may not be comfortable with the cuetable yet, I'll show you what it would look like:

Here are a couple more, both similar to what's already been done:

Of all of the patterns here this is exactly the one I saw when I looked that the original post. I normally don't like behind the rack shots, but I am getting used to them and how they spread. I much prefer it in this situation over the 5 as I do not feel confident that I can get the straight in position on the 8 ball every time which is key to getting good on the 5 for the break. I know that Marop's pattern is minimal on cue ball so it is probably a better one, but sometimes I just have to go with what I feel works best for me.
