The Mika DVD is very good.

Trick Shots???

Don't watch them on TV so I wouldn't pay for a DVD. They are entertaining but I think they hurt pool more than help it. The non pool player thinks that every shot needs to be like those that are being demonstrated and so do those dumb young kids that try showing off on the tables.

With that logic, they shouldn't have home run derbys in baseball, slam dunk competitions in basket ball, etc. I'm not a huge trickshot buff either, but I'm trying to show our sport in a way that will entice non pool players to pick up a cue (not sure if you watched the trailer, but my new DVD is nothing like what you see on televised trickshots).

Don't get me wrong, I respect your opinion, but I just don't think it's a very positive one.

Regardless of all that, I do want to say thanks for the kind words regarding the Mika DVDs, as well as your support for my efforts.
