Does anyone know who will be in Sacramento tomorrow. Efrin? All the rest of the pacific islanders? Or is this just a local event with the usual Nor-cal bunch?

I think a bunch of the So-Cal crowd are heading up. I heard Efren and Francisco will be there. The resident California Philipinos like Santos and Parica will likely be there as well.
I just left there and none of the "heavy hitters" were in residence as of 7:30 .
However, there was an SJD sighting during signups for the 1-Pocket Mini-Tournament.

Full field of 128 players and Efren was pulling his magic last night in the mini one pocket tournament.
A sweaters delight watching him win over Sylver Ochoa in a close match. The mini's are a race to 15 balls with the player with the lowest number of balls breaking the 2nd rack. The first rack is played out to all 15 balls so you get to see the end game. Great format for a quick tournament.

Cannot believe they are going to Calcutta all 128 players.
They cut off tournament at 128 and several people did not get in.
Jerry Machin was one of them until John Henderson showed up and reported he fell down at his home that morning and messed up his ribs so he says he is out of action for about a month. That is going to make some people pretty sad as he had a bunch of SS checks on him. lol
So John gave Jerry is spot.
Jerry played Efren in the final of a $50 mini tournament(8 Players) and lost in a race to 15 balls, 15-14. Jerry had him twice the his final ball rattled the pocket twice and Efren got out of it. Great match.
I think Efren is starting to show his age a little, imo.

Sorry to hear about the ribs. That hurts for a while.
From personal experience-duct tape is not a good idea.
I hope he feels better in a couple of weeks.
Major disaster in sacramento
The lights went out. I guess a transformer blew and they had half lights for awhile. Then all the lights had to be shut off to replace the transformer. It was still dark at 6 30, so I came back to room.
They do not have wi fi there yet although they have hard wire for streaming.
Don't know when they will be back to playing. Just will take longer to finish first day and action will be delayed.
