I am not sure what's going on these days here at AZB, but tempers are flying, regular posters are getting band, (unfortunately rightfully so) and we seem to have some new blood that is trying to egg people on push limits as well.

I miss Drivermaker a lot, and now will miss Rude Dog even more. I love and care about all the parties involved including Mr. Wilson and Mike very much.

Sure, I have had my bad day's and pushed several limits in the past as well. But I have to admit in the past several months I have mellowed and life has changed for me quite drastically. I am just deeply saddened with this weekends events and hope it will end here.

I just wish that everyone could get along..:(

I agree, i mean i really don't know that much people here on the forum but i always love to come here and read everyone's threads and post so i feel like i know them, as for Rude Dog i will miss his posts very much so, and for mentioning DM very much miss that guy too. .

ER,
An admirable sentiment surely. Unfortunately, the day everyone gets along will be the first such day in the recorded history of civilization. Those expecting this to change seem doomed to disappointment (though I'm glad there are those that try).

Good point Willie.

...now see there I’m agreeing with Williebetmore, that’s a start isn’t it?

Eydie,
Planet Mecury is retrograde and lots of funny stuff happen during this planet`s retrograde phase.
In the year 2006 Mecury will be on retrograde course: March 2-25, July 4- 28 and Oct 28 -Nov 17th

eventhough this retrograde affects all people but it affects the people who are controlled by planet Mercury MORE. Mercury controls Gemini & Virgo.
Our friend Rudedog is a Virgo. Now u know the rest of the story.

I miss Shorty but know he is Lurking.

I would like to say that my opinion of Mr. Wilson has vastly improved. He gave Rude Dog a 6 month ban rather than a lifetime ban.

Like I said before there are VERY FEW things that warrant a lifetime ban in my opinion. Other than posting kiddie porn or something like that.

what the hell is retrograde:confused:

All the planets ,except for the Sun & moon, have times when they appear to move backward-or -retrograde.
Effects of Mercury`s retrograde can be irritating. When Mercury reaches a short distance ahead of the Sun several times a year it seems to move backwards. astrolgers often compare this retrograde motion to the optical illusion that occurs when u ride on a train that passes another train travelling at a different speed-the second train appears to be moving in reverse.

what all this means is:that the mercury ruled areas of your life-Analytical thought process, communications, scheduling - are subject to all kinds of confusion.
Coming back to our friend Rudedog-mercury has 2 phases -articulation and analytical.Mercury controls gemini in it`s articulation phase and virgo in it`s analytical phase. With this retrograde people born under the sign of virgo ,loose their abilty to analyse a situation in rational manner.

Actually Rudedog can hire an Astrolger and plead ``ASTRO DEFENSE`with Mr.wilson & Mike. I am on a very tight schedule and I am not available:cool:

People will type nasty stuff to someone else on the net that they'd never say to their face. It's how it's been for the two decades I've been online in various forms. It's easier and safer to fling crap from behind a keyboard.

..........:)

It's pretty simple really.

Follow the rules and everything will be just fine.

No one has ever been banned because the moderator was bored. Everyone who has been banned forgot to do one simple thing, follow the guidelines you AGREED to when you registered....

This website as well as many other large sites has Sponsors. Sponsors only finacially support "Clean" websites. Soon as a website allows vulgarity and porn and childish bickering, the sponsors yank the plug and the site will close....

Anyone know how much a year it costs to run a website that yanks as much Bandwidth as this place???

It's an unreal figure.

And before someone tells me how cheap they run their website for, go and look how many registered members this site has, and then go to the main page and see just how many people are viewing the "Main Forum" at any one given time.

Trust me, that's a whole lot of bandwidth and that's the exspensive part....

If everyone followed the rules no one would get banned. Plain and simple. And trust me, any other website would have booted Rude Dog a LONG time ago, I am suprised he lasted here as long as he did. Regardless of how nice a guy he is in person or how good of threads he has started, he was a Very High Maintenence member of the board, and that's bad for buisness...

Criticize my comments all you want, but if you owned and operated a website the magnitude of this one, you too would have some guidlines you expect people to folow, and would not bend the rules for anyone...

i don't know what ride dog got banned from here for anyway ?

thanks

Naturally I get a troll on this serious thread... Hey Dave and Mike, I hope this questionable person is next on the "boot" list

Bellbottoms, sideburns, brylcreem, etc.

Rude Dog went retro and showed up for league night in an Elvis outfit and that got him banned for six months. It really wasn't his fault, the planet moving backwards made him do it, but the mods decided to nip it in the bud. With something like that it's just a matter of time before the copycats get in on the act and then before long it's out of control. It starts innocently enough with Elvis but it progresses into a downward spiral until you have people dressing like Liberace and playing Barry Manilow songs on the Juke Box.

I'm going to bed now like I should have done before I started typing this. Elvis, and Rude Dog, have left the building.

St Louis
