Seemed like more than half of the page was made up of eBay ads. Isn't there a page specifically put in the sale forums for those ads?

Some may have been from FB, but I keep reading here about that place being where scams start.

Mods, can you do something, pls.
 
AZB has the best selling site on the internet compared to people starting a FB page. FB pages are more prone to scams than AZB while AZB has a rating/reputation and buyer/seller participate in rating their transaction.

been horrendous since they made their rules revisions to it a few years back.
 
I did not even consider using the sale forum here when selling a high end cue.

Way to much BS and headaches revolve around certain members just wanting to stir up shit.

I sold elsewhere with zero drama and dealt with several serious buyers. That cue is now in Florida alongside a collection of just under a hundred cues.

Zero drama and smooth as silk!
 
doesn't take scam artists long to find a ripe hunting ground. you have to be 100% vigilant anywhere stuff is sold these days. its not AZ's fault that scumbag asswipes are targeting the members. with current tech. its REALLY easy for lowlifes to come across as legit sellers.

It does to me. Tired of looking at the crap. Call me crazy, everyone else does, including me. Edit: truthfully it’s since all LD crap became prevalent. Fewer and fewer regular everyday pool cues for those that don’t suffer the handicap of considering deflection an issue. Deflection is your friend if you understand it.

I drove over an hour to buy a shaft from someone on here only for the guy to message me last minute and say he wont be showing up. He did offer gas money to be fair. I was more irritated about the wasted time. I wont organize a meet up like that again.

That's a YOU problem not a AZ Sales Forum problem. Trends/changes in equipment haven't made it better-or-worse.
 
Compared to the BS I have seen on Facebook forums I consider this practically a "safe place". At least I can research a seller or buyer and make a informed decision. Also, if I don't come through, or they don't come through, I feel like it will be reported legit.

I had a guy try to scam me on a trade on another Facebook forum and have seen several listings that are obviously scams. He wanted to trade a Zyler cue he had ripped off the pics for and trade me for a McDermott plus cash. When it felt odd and I dumped on the trade, he took my McDermott pics and listed it for sale or trade. I notified the site and they did nothing about it.

I'd rather buy from you guys than Facebook! The number of scams on Facebook is way up lately, you'd think that would increase the value of a place like this.

scam pages out the wazzo but generally easy to spot and dispell with the magic words
